    It was the 90s and teal was in. But misguided at best is a nice way of putting it. It didn't look bad, truthfully, but like you say, toying with over 100 years of history, is nearly unforgivable.

    Funny thing, when the Argos introduced the logo/colours in 1995 it was Slate Green. I bought the launch t-shirt with the logo and lightning behind it. As the seasons went on, the dark/grey Slate Green clearly changed into the 90’s “Sea Foam” shade that was more prevalent in sports uniforms.
