Argo receiving corps could include - Rogers & Daniels (both with big production for the Stumps) and M. Bryant & J. Gordon (both with big NFL production) + a bunch of good Canadian receivers to consider.



Cripes - AV you should come out of retirement and sign for cheap to play QB for the Argos (they won't be able to afford Nichols or MBT ) - just chuck it up to all that receiver talent and see what happens.

In theory, the tampering period is for discussion and no contract offers can actually be made. The Argos can make a legitimate offer to these players now, but I see your point. Havong said that, I don't think there will be any offers to blow anyone away this year on just about anyone.

So clearly the 3Down article was missing details. Basically Argos swap their 5th Round Pick and 3rd Round Global Pick for Stamps 6th Round Pick and 4th Round Global Pick for a few hours of dedicated time to talk to these 3 prior to the FA window opening... interesting...We may or may not sign any of them, but let's see. Would be quite something if we do.

Perhaps the Argos could have signed these three guys without the trade, but we can't have been the only team interested in Rogers or Law. Since both were signed before free agency and all three players are now on the roster, I'd call this an excellent trade.
