Almost every home game is a Friday night. Interesting approach. Wonder how that would work when full stadiums are allowed.

MLSE must believe Toronto fans want weekday games. Hope they are right.

This is not nearly as bad as it might have been. I was expecting to lose a home game to some venue out west, and to play no home games before early September. It's a tough schedule, with six games against the two most recent GC finalists (including four against Ham) and road games in Calgary and Sask, but overall it's not bad.

    A few observations:

Three annoyingly tight turnarounds: Aug. 21-26, Sept. 6-10, and Oct. 6-11. Fortunately there are no road trips among those: home/home, Ham/home, home/Ham.

The bye week spacing is not ideal: weeks 9 and 11. But I don't mind having a third bye in week 16, so we can rest up for the playoffs.

One Wednesday home game is a bit annoying, and it's too bad we have only two Saturdays among our seven home games.

The 2021 Argos are going to look adversity in the face and spit in it’s eye. A stern warning to the other 8 CFL teams, close your blinds, turn out the lights and hide under your beds.....

Given the tough circumstances and the team's history of less than ideal scheduling, they could have done way, way worse.

    Thumbs up from me.

Our original 2021 home schedule was very good, aside from the missing home game. This schedule... is Not. Only 2 weekend home games! From what I can see every other team has 3 or 4 weekend home games. Hamilton always gets a Labour Day home, we should always get a Thanksgiving Day home game.

I agree, should have had the Thanksgiving day at BMO.
Having said this I can’t complain too much considering what we have all gone through since March, 2020.

I get why they scheduled Thanksgiving in Hamilton. The CFL will have the day to itself, and it will be more of an event type of game there than here.

I personally can’t wait for the Nov 12 7:30 start. Might get pretty chilly. Let’s see who bares the elements that night to cheer on the team.

Their last event of the year. Be sweet for the Argos to represent the East in Hamilton….AGAIN.

I really don't think the schedule is that bad. I've just thankful that it looks like I can FINALLY use my season tickets after waiting almost two years.

The Friday games I don't mind. I like the idea of leaving work, and kicking off the weekend at a football game. I also don't mind the November game. I did buy an Argos winter pullover when they had a clearance sale, so I can actually use it at a game. I had a blast at the cold weather East Semis a few years back, so hopefully we are in the thick of a playoff race or have clinched by then.

Everyone views a schedule based on their own priorities. Having to come downtown on a working day is not an easy task for those who live on the outskirts of the GTA. As Neely stated, it would have been nice if the team had as many weekend games as the other teams. There may well be some who find it too much of a rush trying to wrap up work and then battle the traffic to get to the game. Those folks will probably find it easier and more convenient to watch the game on TV.

That said, it is not a terrible schedule and hopefully we are all so anxious to watch the Argos live, we will make the effort to get to as many games as we can. Having to play Hamilton four times will be a challenge, especially as most consider Hamilton the best team in the East. Let's hope the team proves the pundits wrong and we sweep them 4-0.

Can't wait for the season to begin.

Honestly, I try to schedule things around the Argos schedule. I love weekend games, but it has no effect on me. As I’ve stated many times on here, i’v missed 5 home games in the last 40 years.
