Calgary scores off the Collins fumble. The Argos have left at least 9 points on the field (if not 13).

Game summary so far - Argo fumble, kicking, penalty mistakes but hanging in there.

Argos need to get the defence off the field or they be worn down by the fourth quarter.

Ray's injury must have been minor because he is back on the field --but where is our pass rush?

The MBT sack worked out better than an incomplete pass as it enabled them to take down the clock almost 20 seconds.

Hmmmmm. So Ricky Collins who was listed as a backup at SB on the depth chart is the Argonauts' leading receiver.

Gutsy performance, especially considering how McMahon has been a house of horrors for us for ages. MBT was sharp, o-line was good and at times great, our receiving corps is every bit as deep as we expected. The defence bent more than we would have liked at times, and got eaten alive by Bo whenever we blitzed. But big plays were made when needed, especially in the fourth quarter. Oakman looks like a force inside. Ray got blocked pretty well for an "unblockable" guy, but he will be fine, I'm sure. Some cleaning up is needed on special teams. Dinwiddie is a very intense coach.

The unis looked fantastic. The Argos tweeted that they will be using many looks this year (a la 2017, I guess) but I doubt we will see a combo better than this one. The Cambridge numbers and upper socks looked amazing with the Oxford pants and white jerseys.

Things are looking very positive for the Argos. Ticats o-line looked bad the other night, a few teams already seem to have issues with kicking (despite his misses I'm not worried at all about Bede), and QB depth is a huge strength for us.

Argos moved receivers in and out all game. Noel was one of their leaders in the first half. They play to win on the field, and frankly don’t give a rat’s you know what about fantasy.

It is always difficult to win in Calgary but this team beat the predictions. Well deserved win. Some excellent things, some good things and some things where improvement needed:
Excellent things--MBT was sharp when he needed to be-- Receivers performed very well and showed we have some excellent Canadian receivers---O line gave MBT good protection ---Bede outstanding
Good things--Oakman and Ealy played well in their first CFL game---LB's all played strong game
Improvement needed---pass rush though Ray and Harold should become more effective with more CFL experience-----return game

    Congrats Argos---great win!!!

I felt that the Argos coverage teams on punts and kickoffs was very, very good. I'm not sure Braverman had a ton to work with on his returns and he did mess up on that first punt return.
