Dinwiddie said that Stubler will be calling the D again Friday during his press conference after practice today. Still no official mention of Jones, but I guess with a semi bye week (they play Wednesday Oct 6 next after this Friday), it will give the staff time to go over film with Jones and my guess is he takes over for that game.

    It’s official.
Hate to see Young out of commission as he was doing a very good job.
Chris Jones one of the best, Argos lucky to have him on board!

I can't see Jones coming to the Argos just as a consultant, unless there is an understanding that he will become the defensive coordinator. This could happen during the upcoming bye week. If this does roll out that way, it will be interesting to see what changes he makes to the D.

I'm sure it all depends on what Glenn Young chooses to do in regards to the vaccine.

Regardless of what happens with Jones and Young, I don't see any likelihood of Pinball cutting Dinwiddie loose in the foreseeable future. He sees Dinwiddie as a guy with all the tools to be a successful head coach in this league. So do I. He has made a few poor decisions (especially the play call on third and goal last week) but overall I've been very impressed by his demeanour, his intensity and his sense of confidence. And the Argo offence, despite some of its failings to date, is way more entertaining and aggressive than anything we have seen here in years. He pushes the ball downfield, uses two running backs, tries the odd gadget play. None of those things were part of the Milanovich-Trestman era.

I agree regarding Dinwiddie. No Idea why anyone would think otherwise.

    Ditto to both.
