some key players missing for toronto in the middle. Collen Warner not eligible to play.
a 2-1 loss for the impact would be acceptable as they would only need to win 1-0 at home to win the title.

Oh hey 1-1 is even better. A 0-0 tie and we're in. 2-2 tie we're out though.
Soccer sure can be weird

First ever time the Voyageurs Cup will be determined at Saputo. Should be a killer game. Good luck.

Second time actually. The first was in 2009. Either way, like you said it should be a killer game. Good luck to you as well.

Happy with the win. There was a small contingent of TFC fans with a couple wearing Blue Jays caps.

I went to this game, my first TFC game, although I've seen the national team play there a couple of times. What a great atmosphere, and a great game. We sat in the upper deck way at the south end (they didn't sell 2nd deck tickets for the national team games). What a fantastic place to watch a game from, the view of the city and the island, could see the far end goal area clearly.
I got thinking what an outstanding place it will be for the Argonauts to play. The scene will be spectacular, when it finally happens. And I think the Argos and FC will have a nice synergy as stadium mates, because they have some things in common -- as the underdogs among the Big 5 sports, trying to shed the "not the best in the world" stigma, and with the most dedicated fans. Go Reds! Go Argos!
Toronto FC and MLS continue to struggle to find a TV audience in Canada: https://ca.sports.yahoo.com/blogs/eh...210645854.html

Are there any Toronto FC players on any World Cup rosters? I've enjoyed the matches so far (and am watching Ecuador vs. Switzerland at the moment).

Thanks! I'll keep an eye out for MB and JC when their teams play. I missed Brazil's first game... JC is their starting keeper? That's actually pretty cool.
