I'm cautiously optimistic for the Argos, perhaps; not that I'd bet on them - with Masoli rounding into form for the Ticats, plus their addition of Jackson at RB; and MBT looking poor at times lately; Defence = the Ticats are more solid all-around IMO; Bede gives the Argos an advantage in the kicking game though.

Beside the question who will win, can we get more than 10k to the game and if so is it again because of the Cats fans coming down the QEW in droves?
    Ok I will guess 15k?

Well we had 9,000 for BC, and I didn't see any Cats fans there. Not that I am happy with attendance, but to me, attendance was going to be a write off this year anyway.

Watch out. No Lakeshore West GO service after 10 PM Friday. this is crazy stupid timing, especially for THIS game. https://www.gotransit.com/en/trip-pl...hedule-changes

Would it kill them to delay the shutdown until midnight? Let's hope Metrolinx hears enough complaints.

That’s brutal. If MLSE cares, I’m sure they have enough stroke to delay this a couple of hours, but do they care?

There's also a leafs game Friday night. Perhaps that's enough to make them care. I hope they're on the phone to Metrolinx right now.

Holy smokes! Thank you SO MUCH for this heads up. Was going to be coming down with a bunch of friends on the GO. Will need to make different plans.

Metrolinx has heard the complaints and says they’re working on something -

    https://twitter.com/MetrolinxSpox/st...51530033451009

from Anne Marie Aikins (Metronlinx spokesperson) - “I’m just confirming details that will hopefully help Friday night. We’ll keep people posted.”

What's with the Friday night home games for the Leafs? I miss the days when their home games were reliably on Wednesday and Saturday nights with a few Mondays thrown in here or there.

It woul result in too many road games Thursday and Sunday. They get less back to backs by playing at home on different days of the week, the drawback being they play a lot of road games on Saturday now. I believe it was Cliff Fletcher that initiated this change in the early 90's.

Looks encouraging, but there are still 12 guys on the 6-game IR. Doesn't look like they 6-gamed White, though - so that's something.

Really looking forward to tomorrows game. For the record I have had zero issues getting into the games. The MLSE people on the gates bend over backwards to help with the digital tickets and proof for Covid. Hope people will try to make it out to support our team and our leaque if you are able. Is going to be nice to finally get the Ballard Cup back....This should be a great game with great atmosphere... Go ARRGOS !!!

Depth charts are out. Only real change is Hughes being replaced with Travis Feeney in a back up roll on the DL. For Hamilton, Don Jackson is out again. Practiced full early in the week then became a non participant Wednesday. Argos may have caught a break there as he was explosive last week.

I know the media narrative is that the Ticats are back to their normal selves but since losing to the Argos on Thanksgiving, they have beaten Ottawa, Edmonton and BC and I wouldn't say that their wins over Ottawa and BC were easy ones. The Argos had two tough wins over BC and Ottawa also but apparently they are an awful team for not blowing those teams out. Anyway, we shall see what happens tomorrow but I find it funny how the Argos are such overwhelming underdogs.

There’s no reason why the Argos cannot win. Just need MBT to make those throws. Am I the only not keen on Tuggle starting?

I am still weary about having to start Tate at RT.

Not so much trash talk from the Ticats themselves, but plenty of bulletin board material from the pundits that the Argos can use.
