1970 is the only year when two 3rd place teams (Als and Stamps) made the Grey Cup.

Does anyone know what Santos-Knox did to get ejected? Side note — I was seated right next to the Ti-Cat tunnel in row 1 and waived bye-bye to Knox as he was exiting the field….he greeted me with a lovely “f*** you b****”.

I wonder if 3DN Ti-cats cheerleader Josh Smith too busy crying to do his write up on the game. Nothing on the site yet.

Being as sadistic as I am, I also listened to the Ti-Cats post game on their online radio network today. Louis B (I actually like him) was in total disbelief. All joking aside, it's great that they have so much online content for their team, and it's available after the fact as a podcast. They have a good show on Tuesdays CFL this week, which I think is worth listening to for any fans of the league.

I am friends with Dave Foxcroft, and I texted him at half time to find out what happened. He said that Santos-Knox through an elbow into the gut of an Argos player long after the play was over.

3DN has been very light on Argo content all season especially after an Argonaut win.

If you haven't already, go watch the game on demand. You were on TV for quite a bit. You looked awesome and the commentators had a good laugh at you chirping the player.

They don't like it when the Argos win.

Hamilton, Winnipeg, Calgary, Ottawa and BC are all represented by writers who are known to be fans of those teams. Montreal, Toronto, Edmonton and Saskatchewan I believe are not represented.

I think it was Patrick Lavoie who took that cheap shot; they showed a replay, but from a far, pulled back camera angle; didn't seem like worthy of an ejection but maybe it was aimed a bit lower than the gut ?

Yeah, it didn't look particularly malicious.

I was more aggrieved by the play where Decoud got hurt. I'm not convinced that Decoud wasn't knocked out on that play. The replay showed him taking a shot from the Hamilton receiver. It probably looked worse than it was on slow motion replay as White was probably trying to knock the ball away, but I still didn't like it.

3 Down Nation should hire Paul W as their Argo reporter.

They couldn’t afford him . Hopefully Dunk pays his staff, as Edwards missed making payments (so I was told).

Tim White connected with left jab to Decoud’s facemask when the ball was in play. I doubt it was intentional but it was pretty noticeable.

And after scoring a TD to make it 24-10, what is the point of going for a two-point convert? And man, Masoli sure is terrible on deep passes, eh? (Obviously, that's not how I really feel. It just shows that even extremely good QBs don't always hit open men deep, especially in the face of a heavy pass rush.)
Massoli has had accuracy issues his whole career. Thank goodness, because last night could have been much closer. It’s his one true weakness that Cats fans constantly complain about. I wanted the Argos to take a shot at Massoli because I love scrambling QB’s, but it would drive me crazy too. Massoli missed a couple last night where pressure wasn’t an issue. Like MBT, that’s not good enough at this level.

It was such a fun night. The rain came straight down and not on us this time. I was nervous and the low scoring first quarter had me anxious. I love the atmosphere and loudness of my section 126. I’m never giving these seats up. Interesting thing, with 11 000 fans, I experienced long lineups for washrooms and beer. 20 000 fans would almost be unbearable, in a selfish way.

After watching the game film this morning, had a good laugh with the live disappointed the Arkell’s member! Perfect timing! Also the Argos fan giving Santos-Knox the gears after the ejection, Ha! The media, the Cats fans, seemed everyone was so adamant that this was an easy win for Hamilton. So much satisfaction in this win, I’m still smiling. We just don’t lose on this grass! One win away from the cup. Let’s hope for a snowy affair Dec 5!

Masoli was hurried on the majority of his deep balls which is what caused the overthrows IMO. QB takes way too much blame for missing deep balls. IMO, most deep balls that are overthrown are the result of the QB having to throw a split second too early due to pressure.

Interesting side notes: The Ti-Cats who were supposed to have the best 1-2 punch at QB are now 5-6 in games NOT started by David Watford. They are also 3-6 overall against the other 5 playoff bound teams, and again, Watford is 1-0 in that situation.

When are you creating the Game 14 thread, Gabe?

Crazy to think that at this time tomorrow we will already have our depth chart for that game. I am really hoping we see a ton of new faces in the lineup. It's like a preseason game, a chance to scope out some guys for the future (and a few, possibly, for Dec. 5, such as Holley, Huff, Coleman, and some guys who have been on the injured list and PR).

same! looking at the floodlights on the other side, you’d think “wow, it’s really pouring over there, weird that it’s not raining on this side.”
