What a dumb_@$$ Steinauer is for giving up that single on the kick-off = takes away any chance for your offence to win the game with a FG, and with plenty of time to work with. Goes to show the value and interest the rouge has in the Canadian game though. And then he shows stupid predictability when they are down near the 5 to win the game with a TD - a hand-off right up the middle to a small back like Jackson ? - when you had 2 chances for Masoli to roll-out with run option ?

I'd be a suck and stay in the locker room if it were me.

Yep giving up the single, not sure about that.
But Condell's offence scheme never pressed deep when they had the wind. And deep I mean throw more that 10 yards down field.

Condell is a same-old, tired CFL offensive "mind" = don't be surprised if he gets a HC gig next somewhere.

I too couldn't believe it when Hamilton failed to run the ball out of the end zone and gave up a single that was the difference between a tie and a win in regulation time.

Something is wrong. I feel sorry for Hamilton who came so close after the longest stretch without winning a Grey Cup. Okay got that off my chest. Back to normal about the Tiger Cats for next year.

By the end of the game, I was cheering for the Cats because I know how exhilarating it is to win the Cup on your home field. However, given the unnecessarily combative way the Cats celebrated on the field last week -- it wasn't "we won, we're going to the Grey Cup!" it was "in your face, Argos, you suck!" -- the team (not its fans) got what they deserved, IMO.

Brilliantly written, however some of those drink throwing Cats fans should be included.

Gambling wise (its legal now so i guess we can mention it), the game was textbook CFL. First half under. High scoring 2nd half. At one point, in game WPG was +8.5! You could've bet the house. Grey Cup almost always seems to come down to last posession.

Felt bad for Bob Young. This league is always bleeding money, I'm indifferent to the players, or fans on either side yesterday and was highly entertained by the game. But when they showed Bob Young, i thought a win at home is deserved. If he ever sold, who's going to step up and show the same commitment? The Arkells?

Can't you just be satisfied that our biggest rival's Grey Cup drought continues another year?

I can. Today is day 8,051, and we should be around 8,400 by the time next year’s game comes around. Life is good. What a difference a week makes. 👍👍

Sorry, I'm a pan-CFL fan; and always love to see a good GC game - may the best team win. I would have been happy with a Ticats win, IF they deserved it, but their coaches cost them the game with stupidity, so LOL instead.

Pussycats may be the long-time Argo arch-rival, but I don't hate them or their fans (though the mouthy punks who won't tolerate other team fans or start fights, need their heads kicked-in IMO).

Sorry again, just don't get the hate I see on some of these fan forums for other teams and their fans. Blind homers make me want to ...

I won’t lie, there was a moment I was rooting for Masoli, like it’s be a cool redemption story. That thought lasted a minute

My thoughts on the game are two fold.
Boring first half, even though some will call it a great defensive struggle, and which was largely typical and all to frequent in the league this year.
The second a complete opposite and with the wild OT, what has made the entertainment value that the league was generally known for.
Like some have said here, giving up the single was mind boggling and ultimately costly.
With rule changes promised, we have to get rid of that crazy continuous clock which has taken away many more play.
Going back to the clock starting on run plays and stopping with incomplete passes and change of possession.
The 3 minute warning for each end of half, has to be stopped like the 2 minute in the NFL.

IMO the CFL took the easy way out in giving Collaros the Grey Cup MOP nod, personally I would have picked Adam Bighill who was all over the field making big plays on D.

I just read viewership for yesterday was the lowest in recent memory 2.873M, with the key demographic of only 821,000 in the key 25-54 age groups.
This does not include the RDS numbers.
The figure is a shock especially since last weeks numbers were strong.
