Adrian Tracy signed with Argos, according to 3DN. Could be a decent pickup as a depth DE, altho he's 34 years old.

I want nothing to do with Watford. He is nowhere near as good as Pipkin. I want to see Pipkin with a full training camp and pre season reps. It's unfair to judge him on a game he played last year with basically the practice roster as his offence.

Naylor has tweeted this as well. Possible low risk, high reward move.

Also he’s the husband of CP24 personality Kayla Williams, which ain’t gonna hurt their communication plans this season.

I hear you... but Pipkin (like Watford) is currently unsigned by anyone.

Pipkin isn't a free agent and is under contract for 2022.

Has there been any indication that the Argonauts are trying to get Chad Kelly under contract? I realize that the folks who traded for his CFL rights last season are probably no longer around. I also realize that Kelly is said to bring plenty of baggage... but playing under a solid pro like MBT might actually do him some good.

Tracey is similar to Cordaro Law who looked good late last season…wonder if he is moving on.

I think Kelly is seeking to gain employment with the Birmingham Football League…I mean the USFL.

Pretty much zero QB's left, so I guess it's safe to say the Argos Braintrust believes that heading into the season with Bethel-Thompson, Pipkin and some unknowns yet again will lead to success ?

With the signing of Masoli in Ottawa, could that mean that Duck Hodges, who was seen as a potential number one there when he signed, is on the block?

Doubt it - Duck will be in the mix with young Evans for #s 2 & 3 behind Masoli.

Thanks... I read someplace that Pipkin was a free agent. I feel better about the QB depth situation now.

Naylor reported yesterday that Chad wants to be in Toronto and talks have picked up. Sounds like it could happen soon

I can live with that, he was definitely good in short yardage situations. He didn't show well in that game last year although as it's been pointed out it was not with the starters. Hard no on Watford.

Apparently the Argos may be looking to sign Ambles. Don't fully understand the thought behind this, think we are pretty set at receiver with us bringing back almost everyone from last season, and some recent signings of speed receivers (Earnest Edwards and others).

I can't see him being anything more than depth, competing with Worthy, Dres Anderson, Cam Phillips and Jeanpierre for the 5th receive spot. IMO, Gittens, Brescacin, Rogers and Daniels are locks for the other 4 spots. I think Gittens will be moved to the spot Collins played last year leaving the Field side WR position up for battle. I think that's a perfect spot for Worthy who will get a cushion out there and can make things happen in space.
