    Hope everyone enjoyed the week...

Well, this Grey Cup week has come to a close. I obviously have mixed emotions. This was a gut punch of a loss if there ever was one. Of all the scenarios playing out in my head during the week (early blowout loss so just enjoyed the game for what it was; come from behind win and jubilation; fairly close all the way through and then one team pulls out a win), I was never prepared for this.

Nonetheless, I think it was a good week for the CFL and the city of Hamilton. I hope everyone here who made the trek to Hamilton throughout the week or just on gameday enjoyed their time and didn't get heckled too much (I didn't hear too much of it but doesn't mean it wasn't there). I'm looking forward to hosting again in 2023. Hopefully, it's a bigger, more traditional Grey Cup party, and I'll enjoy every second of it (even if it's the Argos playing in the game

I went to the game with 8 others and we had a blast. Four of our group also went out to the festivities on Saturday night, attending the Spirit of Edmonton bash as well as the Eastern and Western parties at the convention centre. They had a great time all around. As far as heckling, there was absolutely none in the area where we were sitting. When die hard Hamilton fans sitting in front of us found out we were Argos STH's they were very welcoming and gracious. I can't same I am sorry that Hamilton lost, because you had to beat Toronto first to get to the GC, but when Masoli threw the pick in OT, I thought you could hear a pin drop in that stadium. It was a a great game, great half-time show, and great experience overall. The City of Hamilton and its residents should feel proud for being great hosts.

I feel like Argo fans and Ticat fans generally get along ok as long as there's not an actual Argos-Ticats game happening. I've had some awesome football discussions with some Argo fans over the years!

Thanks for the gracious posts, Hammer. Fingers crossed for an EF re-match next year. :)
