    2022 Argo free agents

Here is the list of pending FAs, according to 3DN. Not surprising that many key guys are not FAs since we had so many first-year players who would have signed multi=-year deals. I've marked the guys I view as priorities to re-sign. Surprised how short my list is.

    Quarterback
    McLeod Bethel-Thompson (A) -- priority
    Antonio Pipkin (A)

    Running Back
    Patrick Lavoie (N)
    Asnnel Robo (G)
    John White IV (A)

    Receiver
    Juwan Brescacin (N) -- priority
    Ricky Collins Jr. (A)
    DaVaris Daniels (A)
    Josh Huff (A)
    Llevi Noel (N)

    Offensive Line
    Dariusz Bladek (N) -- priority
    Isiah Cage (A)
    Shane Richards (N) -- priority

    Defensive Line
    Fabion Foote (N)
    Cordarro Law (A)
    Drake Nevis (A)
    Robbie Smith (N) -- priority
    Junior Turner (N)

    Linebacker
    Brandon Calver (N)
    Alexandre Chevrier (A)
    Dexter McCoil (A) -- priority
    Henoc Muamba (N) -- priority
    Nick Shortill (N)
    Justin Tuggle (A)
    Bear Woods (A)

    Defensive Back
    Matt Boateng (N)
    Chris Edwards (A)
    Robert Woodson (N)

    Kicker

    Boris Bede (A) -- priority

    Long Snapper
    Maxime Latour (N) -- priority

Some notable players finished the regular season on the practice, which means they are currently free agents. Among them are receiver Brian Jones, offensive lineman Thaddeus Coleman, defensive lineman Travis Feeney, and defensive back Robertson Daniel.

Only Feeney is a priority for me, from this list.

The best news here, IMO, is that there are few free agents at defensive back. I really felt that this positional group took some nice strides as the season went on and also introduced some first-year guys like Decoud, Peters and Collins who should be back. I look back to the 2012 and 2017 championship teams and remember that the DB group got decimated due to free agency or retirements. McCoil and Muamba are absolutely priorities in the LB corps.

Regarding Canadian talent, my big hope is that Nick Shorthill and Robert Woodson just decided to sit out this season and come back to the Argos next year. These guys are great back-ups that can start without much if any drop in play.

While not necessarily priority signings, there are a few players who I hope are back and competing for jobs at training camp. Receivers--- DaVaris Daniels, Llevi Noel Defensive Line---Cardarro Law, Travis Feeney Defensive Backs---Chris Edwards, Robertson Daniel

Some of the above were injured but did look effective when they were playing. Edwards has huge talent but needs to control his "enthusiasm" Feeney looked good when on the field and was a monster on special teams (could have used him in the Eastern Final)
