    It's a money-maker for TSN.

I hate how the Argos (and their fans) always draw the short straw for TD Atlantic. But playing the Roughriders in a 3,000-seat stadium might be the height of CFL stupidity. There would easily be 3,000 EXTRA fans at BMO if the game was played here.

Yeah, I hate it too, but I also understand why it's us.

But, don't you think they'll add several thousand more seats with temp stands for this game?

It's being expanded temporarily to 10,000. Apparently, there were issues with building availability in Moncton and Halifax

Pretty dumbass move by the league to pick the date of the TD Atlantic game without clearing stadium availability in Moncton or Halifax. It's right up there with CFL 2.0 in my books.

When the schedule came out we were in heading into the Omicron wave so I doubt anyone would have been able to confirm availability.

Wouldn't be surprised is TSN had influence on the date and time as well.

Wonder what's going on in St. Mary's and Moncton where those places are not available.

FYI the TD Atlantic game has been rescheduled to start at 3 AT/2 ET. I like that new slot a lot better -- it still leaves sufficient time for pre-game activity and allows attendees to get back into Halifax in time for the evening.

I hadn't thought of the aspect of getting back to Halifax in time for evening, but in general I like more afternoon games . . . to allow both more kids to attend, and more adults like me who prefer an early bedtime, lol.

I'm always on board with afternoon games. I know the networks like primetime, but I am a firm believer the Argos would grow the family fan base if they played more weekend 1 or 2pm games.
