Very glad to see J. Jackson gone - he was a predictable, simplistic, same old offence of today's CFL guy; be interesting to see the new hire there, but likely more of the same, and one of Dinwiddie's guys from previous CFL gigs.

The OC could be Pete Costanza or Marc Mueller. It would be nice to see some new blood in these roles.Elizondo will probably collect a check from Edmonton
and see what plays out with the XFL in 2023.
It's pretty obvious the offence is Dinwiddie's and not Jackson's. I see no reason to bring in an OC; they can use the vacancy to rejig the position coaches.

Disagree completely.
Dinwiddie and by extension Jackson were by and large an offensive play calling mess, the two of them.
Very predictable, definitely lacking imagination......how can we forget the playoff game with the Cats of the two critical times inside the five and all we saw is hand offs up the middle.
Failure to consistently involve the back up QB with packages throughout the game which is now the norm in football also comes to mind.
Stubborn to a tee with the failure to pull the plug on the starting QB either for the moment or the entire game.
Heck a high school coach could have done better.
Did I mention Dinwiddie's several questionable coaches challenges and strategy moves that should have resulted in losses against the Lions and RB save and except for their horrible FG kickers missing for the wins.
Since the HC is staying, he must hire a competent OC and relinquish the play calling to same.
Maybe someone now like Reinbold who declined to return with the Cats as a very good and imaginative ST coach would take the position and run with it?
Despite his age, I consider him to be an offensive genius.
Involving many years in different leagues, as a HC yes with the BB during the infamous two years.
Most of his expertise has been as a ST coach, very successful with creativity not seen with the Argos for many years during the bland Milanovich and now Dinwiddie eras.
By all indications he is extremely well liked by the players.
I would reach out to him now in Hawaii on the Big Island and convince him to come back to take the OC job asap.
More than this back and forth with recycled Reinbold - whom you can see on the Sky Sports feed of NFL is the UK - the Argos would be better served reaching to Damon Allen for the Wr's or QB Coach position. He's been angling for a coaching job for at least two years and has familiarity with Pinball from the championship in 2004.
Check our his interview about looking for a coaching positIon on the Rod Petersen Show in July 2021

Reinebold jumps to Mtl as STC. I would not have minded him here in that role, but not as OC.
