That one wasn't really late (we're talking about a third of a second), but Ray was *planted*. I think that call was a bit more appropriate.

Kind of a boring second half, but we deserved the win, especially with that non-fumble call.

I was wondering about that the whole game. Every time thinking to myself if it's possible that Montreal cheerleaders have another set of uniform.


I can't believe we actually won, after the first half i was jumping from joy and in the 4th quarter i was praying we would somehow hold on, thankfully we somehow did.
Any idea why we switched to Boyd so much in the 2nd half? Passing game worked just fine in the first half.

The passing game didn't do anything the 3rd quarter, really, the offense did nothing the second half. As others have alluded to, our OL sucked tonight and on some of the plays it was blatantly obvious Boyd was getting the ball, thus him getting hit 2 yards behind the line of scrimmage.

Even though we won the game, I am still incensed about Jake Ireland not reviewing that. What the heck was he doing? Was he asleep? What is the point of having replay if they are going to blow a simple call like that at a crucial time in the game?

It clearly should have been a fumble, but I imagine the ruling might have been that because the whistle blew (far too early), the play could not be overturned. I can't think of any other reason.

You may be right, Paul, although I remember Ricky Williams fumbling in the '06 EF and the whistle going before the ball was recovered and the replay officials awarded Montreal with the ball in that game which IMO was the turning point of that game.
