Far for whom? I was coming from Mississauga. I've gone to our events in Scarborough. People just don't care to meet up on here....they need to make an effort or stop complaining about lack of fans support

It's easier to complain and live with the status quo then to do something. Last time I checked the name of the team is the TORONTO Argonauts.

For ME living in the GTA, downtown Toronto is far, if you could setup a place around Yonge & Finch, ill come.

There is no one location that will satisfy everyone. The Shoeless Joe's is the official bar of the Toronto Argonauts currently and only a 10 minute walk from Rogers Centre which is why it was selected as the location for the event. You're free to organize your own event though if you want.

regardless - this is a winnable game, hopefully we can execute and get our first road W of the year here.

No offence but downtown Toronto is probably the most fair place to meet to satisfy EVERYONE. Plus you need to support the "official" sponsor of the Argos.

SO back to the game, .......
I'm excited to see how our defense does against the top passing team so far this year. In a way I don't want them to do amazingly awesome in case it gives them a cocky attitude...... Just amazing would be good but let's peak near playoff time.
Looking forward to seeing some new offensive plays..... Or perfected plays from the offense ..... Like the final set in the last game
Wanting to see the performance from Waters now that he's had a week or so practicing with the Argos. Hope Pre can pass off some of his knowledge on the Canadian game .... It was always an asset having a former QB doing the kicking.

Viewing parties are always a tough sell. I'm not a big fan of them as I just don't see the game as well as at home, but I understand the social aspect. It's tough in the GTA - Shoeless Joe's downtown would be tough for me, it's a long drive, there's no way for me to get home via transit from there (I'm barely in the GTA, by many standards, I'm not). So basically, in an area of this size, there's no way to draw from everywhere. Even the Rogers Centre location is a big negative to me, not the easiest place to get to I find.

There's not much to say about the depth chart for tomorrow. Parenteau is coming off the IR, so we won't be so thin on the O-Line, but other than that it looks a lot like last week's chart.

I don't think that you need to dress any more than two backup offensive linemen - Parenteau would give them three - as offensive linemen have somewhat limited usefulness on special teams. However, the Argos still have Anthony Alix on the active roster as well and it is likely that one non-import will sit so I would guess that it will either be Alix or Parenteau. They did dress Alix last week so perhaps they feel better having a backup kicker on the roster just in case.
Chad Kelly + Dan Adeboboye + David Ungerer + Damonte Coxie + DaVaris Daniels + Dejon Brissett = Unstoppable Force

I don't have a problem with Shoeless Joe's, but my point is, they have other locations which might be a little bit friendlier to me and maybe others.

I don't like going to bars to watch my team, (I'd rather concentrate on the game than socializing) but really? If you're ok going to Yonge and Finch, it's a 25 minute subway ride to St Andrew station and a 5 minute walk from there. Anything on the subway line should not be an inconvenience if your willing to go to Yonge and Finch.

I meant "thin" in terms of talent as well as warm body count. I have more confidence in Parenteau than Jones, and would predict that Parenteau and C.G.M. would be the two to dress with Jones sitting.

Much to my surprise, however, Jones is actually listed as the *starter* at LG this week. Has anyone noticed anything in practise that would indicate he's the best man for the job?

I would rather have 3 backup OL dressed than to have Alix dress again and do nothing. That was a waste of a roster spot last week.

Think we have a chance to win this one, Montreal hasn't impressed me so far, so hopefully we can pull out a win.

You do have a chance but you're going to have to really earn it. Last night's game in winnipeg can serve as an example. I figure it'll be that close.

Jones was in at LG a fair bit last week, so he must be showing the coaches something. It seems to me they are going to keep trying different guys there until someone seizes the spot.

So after my birthday yesterday (and my Guinness birthday cake my wife made me) I'm still hoping for a late birthday present from the Double Blue. Ideally the D jump on AC early and take the crowd out of it. It'll be tight but winnable against a rather patchy Als side.
I'm new to Canadian football...be gentle. Or flame me, such is life.

Like hockey? Me too! I blog on hockey at Banners On The Wall http://bannersonthewall.wordpress.com (about my team) and Pucks Across the Pond http://www.pucksatp.com about NHL and everywhere else.

Double Blue; in it to win it...or at least beat Hamilton!
