    Here are some ratio details.

Ratio Update* : 8 starting Canadians, 1 of whom is nationalized Canadian (vet American, at least 3 years same team, or *5* in league). 3 other nationalized Americans can play up to 49 per cent of all snaps on offence or defense.

No word on weather or not a Canadian QB is now part of the ratio. That was in the original league proposal. I am happy they kept the 7 actual Canadian starters and added the 8th which could be a naturalized Canadian. I hope teams have to declare their naturalized Canadian prior to kick off. Need to avoid any shenanigans which will be hard to follow.

Thanks. Still nothing on whether a starting Canadian QB counts as one of the 7 Nationals, but I read earlier that it was offered. Also read earlier the league is going back to dressing 3 QB's. It was a dumbass move to go to 2 last season. Hopefully this ends the need for Nate Behar to ever have to take snaps again. By all accounts, the players got their best ever deal. Well deserved.

Still no word on the two earlier proposed roaster changes that you mentioned.

The roster would also include three quarterbacks of any nationality, 19 Americans and up to two Global players.

A starting Canadian quarterback would count as a National (Canadian).

So, the 4 new "nationalized" American guys replace 4 Canadian players as part of the 21 Nationals? If so = 4 less Canadian jobs in that good ole' radical CFL. What a shocker.

Haven't seen any specifics yet. Guess we'll have to wait for 3DownNation to post some additional details since TSN is pro BOG and only share what RA/The League approve them to.

I'm hoping there is no overall change to the number of Canadians on the roster, but the focus was more on in-game flexibility.

There will not be. It will (choice of the team) either 20 Canadians and 2 Internationals or 21 Canadians and 1 International. Should just get rid of the internationals altogether and go with 22 Canadians. As for the extra 3 naturalized Canadians, Teams must still start at least 7 Canadians. The only difference is that 3 can be replaced for up to half the number of plays in a game by naturalized Canadians. I do not like this rule, but at least it will not mean a cut to the overall number of Canadian players.

Will a league employee keep track of that? The officials? One of the coaches? This could lead to tons of confusion. I'm already confused.

    Yup, CBA rejected!

Also, per Farhan Lalji... Ratio is a major issue. Yet, him and Naylor kept saying it wasn't an issue before... maybe they were trying to just brush it under the rug

It depends, they may not go on strike but go back to negotiating the ratio changes and ratification bonuses, and still continue with training camp. This may be a better option as it will show that the players are dealing in good faith.

I am seeing a lot of overreaction on social media and assumptions being made and nobody knows whether those assumptions are correct or incorrect and that includes media types like Naylor and Lalji. Let's just let this all play out before getting our collective knickers in a knot (not that this is happening on this board).

I believe the wording is that the eight player can be a nationalized American, not has to be.

Per John Hodge, below is the updated proposal, which has now removed the additional 3 Naturalized Americans for 49% of snaps, and also includes a small raise to the cap. No clarification on other other issues - ratification bonus or when revenue sharing starts.
