The season gets going on Thursday as the Argonauts will be visited by the Alouettes. The star running back for the Alouettes, William Stanback has been placed on the 6-game with a fractured ankle but Vernon Adams still remains a threat through the air. The secondary will be interesting for the Argos as well as who plays in Chris Edwards' spot.

The Argos want to get off to a great start and that includes McLeod Bethel-Thompson passing touchdowns, Andrew Harris rushing touchdowns instead of a majority of Boris Bede field goals.

I heard they had appealed, but still no word on any decision. I hope it get reduced.

Sounds like the team is aware, Frank got a hold of the news but the league hasn't made it public. I guess 3DN doesn't have any Argo insiders.

Was nice that the Argos changed their app and I got no notice of that, and so I was unable to get my tickets until I called today in a panic and found out that I had to update the app.
Looking forward to what could be a great season, although I think we will have some stiff competition in the East this season.

Agreed, here is the Depth Chart for tomorrow's game. No Jamal Peters or Isiah Cage and the Argos have only two reserve o-lineman.

Well at least there is a lot of CFL experience to surround some new guys on defence: Preister (pretty small OLB - might as well call it extra DB to be more descriptive than S-OLB for most CFL defences - bounced around a few CFL rosters); & McFadden (very nice US college ball resume as top DB there, but no CFL experience); or Hendrix at DT (I hope Acheampong is scheduled for some reps as well; along with Robbie Smith at DE)

Tate in at LT. Interesting (but understandable, I think) that we are keeping Allen at RT instead of moving him to LT for this game. We are thin in the defensive backfield, with Peters out. Letting Collins, Ivey and Decoud go looks a bit questionable at this point. Very disappointing that Rogers and Brescacin keep getting dogged by injuries.

As I said in earlier thread, Ambles played well in preseason. He is also, by far, the most experienced available receiver. The only receiver on the PR is Coxie, who has never played a regular-season down in the CFL. I'm happy to see what he can bring to the lineup, and expecting he will play well.
