Dallas signed him to the practice roster. Let's see how long this lasts.

Always good to see a former CFL player sign an NFL contract.

Reports indicate that San Antonio Brahma Bulls HC Hines Ward is out. Ward led the Brahmas to 3-7 record last season, his first as a HC. His squad will be forever remembered as the team that allowed AJ McCarron to lead his Battlehawks back by utilizing the 4th-15 weapon early in the season.

With 94 days before KO a replacement has yet to be named. San Antonio ownership thanked Ward for his contributions and wished him well in his future endeavours.

Word is Ward refused to take a pay-cut which resulted in his departure along with the teams GM. Former NFL HC Wade Phillips who coached the Houston Rednecks in 2023 is the new HC of the Brahma Bulls. He brings with him his OC from Houston, one AJ Smith.

One Houston team is likely to survive, right? Either the Gamblers or Roughnecks (or is it Rednecks )?
Chad Kelly + Dan Adeboboye + David Ungerer + Damonte Coxie + DaVaris Daniels + Dejon Brissett = Unstoppable Force

As AV pointed out, all things are pointing in the direction of the Gamblers making a triumphant return to Houston after 40 or so years.
