How many Roughriders will have to sit out because of Covid? Will Cody strap on the knee brace and play, or will they save him for games against the West? Will anyone spit at an opponent? Will Stegall wear a watermelon helmet? Tune in Sunday at 7 ET.

Sask president Craig Reynolds: "To have to move our game is a worst-case scenario for us."
Well, let's make it easier. If moving a game by 24 hours is a worst-case scenario, feel free to forfeit instead. (We already decided who the better team was last week anyway.)
Faster + Louder = Better
Apparently the Riders will start Jake Dolegala at QB with Fajardo and (not) Larry Fine missing practice today. This according to 3DN.
I’ll believe it when I see it, but if true, wait for the “League bends over backwards for Toronto” garbage to come from the inbred republic of Canada.

It's us vs the rest of the country
Hard to win in Regina but this could be a good opportunity for the Argos if several players are unable to play for the Riders.
Metchie and Cage are out, replaced by Sutton and Tate. Wright replaces the suspended Mencer as a DI (different positions, obviously). Carbone in at FB replacing WR Nield. Nice to see a relatively healthy and stable lineup, but very sorry to see Cage continuing to have difficulties after his concussion. I wonder if we will see Churchill replace Richards (or Mackellar) in the near future. It's tough to win in Mosaic but this is a game we really need to win, especially given Sask's massive roster woes.
Edit: One other change -- Acheampong in for Foote. I hope we are not souring on Acheampong; he looked very promising last season but seemed to drop off the map early this season.

As AV has mentioned, after Lawrence’s struggles with shotgun snaps, why is Blake not starting at C? 4 lousy snaps a game is going to eventually be very costly…MBT has done a good job limiting the damage thus far.
Welcome to the CFL Mr. Dolegala.
I think we will stick with Lawrence in hopes that he improves, and because we don't have anyone ready to step in and start at guard. I don't think it's as simple as moving Lawrence to LG. I would not play Richards there, and I'd rather shelter Mackellar a little longer before throwing him to the wolves. Maybe when Churchill is ready, he could play LG. But let's hope Nicastro is ready to go after next week's game.

Acheampong had 4 & 3 tackle games early in the season and I thought he looked like his strong self from his rookie season; and IMO he has demonstrated a lot more than Foote as a DT in the CFL. And speaking of Canadian D-linemen - what is the story with D. Knight? - is he really injured or just being stashed on the IR? - like to see this guy play, and sooner than later.
And be nice to see Churchill come back and make the game roster and even play; just not sure he is a better O-Line prospect than MacKellar - though they were both 1st round draft picks, I think it can be argued that the latter has the superior college ball O-Line resume, plus is quite a bit bigger.
Sutton - very light DB and a rookie at safety - is he starting over Haggerty ? = not sure i would get that.
There’s no way we should lose this game. Hopefully Mac will give us another serviceable performance like last week, and the D should take care of the rest against the rookie QB.
Beating the Riders twice will change the change the league — and the team’s —narrative quite a bit. At 3-2 with 6 of the next 7 games against Eastern opponents, I like our prospects.
Royce Metchie will not be playing because his brother John Metchie III was diagnosed with leukemia.

The same question should be asked across the entire league. Attendance over all is down since Covid. I for one have not gone to a game in Vancouver since Covid started. I was going to go last year and again this year but my family was opposed because I also have my 86 year old mother-in-law in our house who of course would be susceptible to anything I brought home from the game. Even my two twenty something kids were opposed to my going because of Covid.
Best wishes to John Metchie.
I expect another tight game. Play good D, limit turnovers, and we'll be in it to the end.
Here are the Argo and Rider injury reports with ten Riders out or questionable just from "illness", which I presume is Covid. With so many Riders conceivably out, it could be a big advantage for the Argos, although any game in Riderville is always problematic.

With zero experience for Dolegala Argos will be blitzing until he shows he can handle it.
Peters just misses interception for TD. The Argo DBs will be all be playing ball hawk against the inexperienced Dolegala.
