If last week vs. Sask was a trap game, so is this one. Everyone believes Redblacks are much better than their 0-6 record indicates. Let's hope Argos prove that theory wrong, and bury Ott in the basement.

Yes, Ottawa has been close but the 1981 Argos fell off a cliff eventually after burying themselves with consecutive close losses. I'd like for that to happen on Sunday.

I don’t buy into the theory of a trap game. I am worried about the receivers this week with Daniels ruled out. Hopefully a great opportunity for Brissett to take a big jump in his development. I think this will result in more FB looks for the Argos this week too.

With Hamilton winning last night and the next 13 games all vs Hamilton (joking) after Sundays game, beating Ottawa is very important. Expect the Argos D to give young Caleb Evans a long afternoon/evening.

The Argos have all the tools to get it done against Ottawa and Hamilton. The only thing that worries me is how hot-headed this team has can be.

It's a celebrated tradition for the Argos and the Ticats to hate each other already and now we're looking at seven games between the Ticats and the REDBLACKS over the next two months. Discipline will be key.

As for Sunday, I'm confident the Argos can deny Ottawa and I am looking forward to a packed house.

There's some shuffling along the o-line with Philip Blake moving to left tackle and 2022 first round draft pick Gregor MacKellar playing at left guard. There are nine Canadian starters listed, although I suspect that Damonte Coxie may play more at receiver than Tommy Nield. Dejon Brissett is a game-time decision. Brandon Banks is expected to get the bulk of the punt returning work.

Nice fade away pass to the outside shoulder of Banks protecting against interception by MBT.

I'm surprised Ottawa isn't trying to put more pressure on MBT. While part of it is good Argo blocking, Ottawa is often rushing only three or four players.

Letting weaker teams hang around in the game is a good way to allow them to start believing the have a good chance of winning this game.

A totally unnecessary penalty costs the Argos a TD.

Now the Argos discipline is totally breaking down as they take another penalty with Edwards out of the game on a misconduct penalty.

Banks makes a big mistake going backwards to end up caught around the Argo five with 3 minutes to go.

Salute to Caleb Evans not only for going 24/29 for 286 yards, 2 TDs and no interceptions in addition to some key runs, but also for showing that he has improved his passing skills so much since his rookie year in 2021.
