What a cluster. However the Argo choices now are at least all legit.

To say the least. No words can explain this. And yes, all of the Argo choices are legit. Disappointed with Bladek not making the team though over Jacob Ruby.

I suspect that they weighted the fan voting too heavily, at the very least. If that were the case then Argos fans must have been stuffing the ballot boxes.

That was my first thought when I saw the correct list.

Also amazing how a team that struggled for much of the season (Hamilton) has the most all-stars at 11. The Argos continue to not get enough respect.

Hamilton managed 6 All Stars on a Defence that folded up like a cheap suit in the 4th quarter several times this season. But as a comic in all seriousness, this list makes a lot more sense.

Yes Ravi, the Argos have become like fellow comic Rodney Dangerfield, they get no respect. This really wants me to see them advance to the GC and put the record straight.

Stay tuned for “Updated List” again today?

Curious if the players who were originally selected would have been expecting a All Star bonus suddenly won’t be receiving one?

Raises the troubling question, are there CFL fans in the CFL head office? It was bad enough when they released a fancy playoff bracket graphic that showed a nonsensical combination of teams, and now they release the original head-scratching list of all stars.

this is the fabulous playoff graphic they shared a few days ago - CFL_2022-Oct-29.jpg

You'd hope someone would notice these things and think, hey this doesn't look right, we should double-check this.

It would be humbling for sure but a full explanation of how the all star screwup happened would be a good move.

I'm not sure who it is that runs /r/cfl on Reddit - hey, if it's someone here, hello! - but I thought this was a good take. We're all getting a little weary of constant minor screwups.

This, 100 times this. And the Reddit guy ain't far off, either. I have very high regard for a few people in the CFL's comms office, and I sure hope it was none of them who signed off on that piece of utter insanity, but this is possibly the most bush-league thing that has ever happened -- in a league where a team once drafted a dead guy.

I feel bad for someone like DaShaun Amos who was named an all-star in the incorrect list:

I've brought this up before, head office let a lot of people go when COIVD hit. It'a been mentioned/reported in multiple places those people simply moved on and have not been replaced. Pretty much confirms head office is running less than minimum staff.
On a side note a number of great social media people were let go and it's easy to see they have not been replaced.

They let Vanessa Morbi go. This league tends to drive a lot of talented people away.

I look forward the annual state of the league address by commissioners every grey cup week. Not this year. This guy has been absent all year long. Nothing has come from his address last year other than alot of handwringing over ill advised rule change suggestions. I hope he is on his way out, he seems to be acting like it. Which makes him giving an address in a couple of weeks meaningless. It will be a lost opportunity for the league to be in front of media to discuss the true state of the league and what the plans are for the future.
I would much rather see a panel with the owners and/or executives who represent them; Doman, Cui, Reynolds, Hufnagel, Cechini, Goudie, Clemons, Young, Wade in Wpg

And where is Bill Manning in your list??? Oh yeah, he has to figure out how to improve TFC for next season. Otherwise, his head could really be on the line. As AngeloV rightfully said, that's what happens when you try to do things on the cheap.

I think that the panel is an excellent idea where those in power can communicate with the fans.

Bill Manning is the last guy that deserves to be on a panel celebrating and discussing the future of Canadian Football. His inactivity as President of the oldest professional sports team in North America speaks volumes. He is probably ignorant of the history he is in charge of because if he was he would treat it alot more dignity, respect and passion.
    GO ARGOS!!!
