I don't know where we would hear about it. There are no journalists covering the Argos day in and day out. Frank Zicarelli is the closest thing to a "beat" reporter, and he's not there anywhere close to daily. To his credit, Zicarelli managed to report on the locker-room fight between Jonathan Jones and Jamal Peters -- but his report did not appear until four months after the incident happened. All kinds of stuff goes on that we will never hear about.

Jamal Peters and Jonathan Jones had a fight in the locker room? When did this happen?

Ill-advised? Maybe for the 9 out of 10 QBs who don’t have the combination of mobility and arm and vision to pull off a play like that.
I went back to review the Bescacin catch. With stop action viewing you can see the DB is positioned perfectly in front of Bescacin. The DB appears to have his hands on the ball, monetarily, when Brescacin jumps higher and reaches over to take the ball out of the DB's hands. Brescacin then somehow manages to keep one foot inbounds as he lands. This is not to disparage Kelly but that Brescacin reception was truly outstanding and he should get all the credit for the reception. Will Kelly be a success as a CFL QB? As I stated before--only time will tell. But as an Argo fan, I hope he is our QB of the future.

I guess the fact that both Will and Ravi never heard of this proves my point that we can't expect to find out from media sources what goes on inside the locker room.

My personal opinion is that Brescacin and Kelly should share the credit for that one. Brescacin did make a superb catch, but Kelly made a very athletic play to put JB in position to make the catch.

Among other things, Frank's coverage of the team suffers from his lack of presence on social media. Of course, to not use social media is his right, but that is the way many people are consuming their news or more precisely how people are accessing their news.

Thanks for posting this, Paul. I don't think I have seen Dinwiddie angrier than he was when speaking to the press after that game. I would say that was THE lowest point of the 2022 season.

Was anyone able to disect or breakdown why the Argo field goal got blocked?

I believe that the Argos were a couple 100ths of a second late in getting the FG attempt kicked which was enough to have it blocked.

People that seem to know about kicking believe Bede was late approaching the ball. Tells me he was trying to be extra accurate. His earlier misses probably got in his head.
It's us vs the rest of the country

But the Argonauts this year won't have home field advantage. Will this be the critical factor jeopardizing their win streak?
    So it was not.

    20 November 2022 - Winnipeg 23 Toronto 24 in Regina

At 7-0, no team has so completely dominated another in Grey Cup tilts as have the Toronto Argonauts dominated the poor feckless Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

But will their winning streak now be snapped by the fearsome Winnipeg Blue Bombers?
    So it was not.

The Argonauts therefore extended their current winning streak in Grey Cup games to seven. The record though is ten set by the same Argos between 1914 and 1952. Three more to tie the record!

    Radically Canadian!
