My understanding is that Chase Brown skipped his team's bowl game to focus on preparing for the NFL but will be participating in the Senior Bowl, which I realize has everything to do with NFL prep. Still, skipping out on your team like that seems like bad form to me.
Chad Kelly + Dan Adeboboye + David Ungerer + Damonte Coxie + DaVaris Daniels + Dejon Brissett = Unstoppable Force

The top 2 guys on that list - the Brown twins - and a few others there are quite likely going to find NFL employment and maybe never show-up in the CFL.

And again, the Argos are quite deep in Canadian talent (IMO - league best likely) and don't seem to have a real pressing position group area of need.

One guy who might be worth a top pick is #11, corner/DB Harrison Bagayogo (Guelph) - rated a very good cover guy; so if he panned out, they could entertain starting a Canadian at corner, to go with all the other good Canadian D talent they have.

And there's several U Sports guys not on this list that could be on this list to displace some question marks there (#8 DT - Uguak - barely played last season at TCU - top draft picks should always be proven starters in college ball, not back-ups)

There are a number of potentially exciting players available in the draft. There are two questions, however. 1) Will the players attract serious NFL interest and 2) will the players still be available by the 9th and 16th choices. Barnes (WR) has speed to burn and with some experience running disciplined routes, could be an excellent CFL receiver. Taylor (LB/DB) has size and outstanding athletic ability and though his team (U of Alberta) had a disappointing year he should be an athlete who could contribute right away on special teams.

I think Christian McCaffery started the trend missing his bowl game when he was at Stanford. Now happens a lot with players not in the playoff.
It's us vs the rest of the country

Is it just as bad form for a head coach or university president(Ex: Santa Ono left UBC for Michigan with 3 years left on his contract) to leave
    for greener pastures/career advancement?

Ego-Jones skipped town on a prestigious CFL gig (GM & HC, in a top CFL market) to take a dinky, Mickey Mouse NFL job; shows what some of the GOBs really think of the CFL; and then he gets re-hired yet again in the CFL = shows what some BOG types think of their GOBs and lack of CFL respect.
