    Michael "Pinball" Clemons for President

This is a straw poll to see how the hard-core fanbase of this storied franchise feels on this topic.
I have made my opinion known many times.
Pinball should have been named President from day one when MLSE took over.
    What say everyone else?
Let ownership know how you feel.

As I said more eloquently before, keep Pinball right where he is. He is just too good at bringing in talent and building teams right now.

As much as I agree with the above sentiments, I think it would be more than possible to have others identifying and recruiting talent but we have to have a president who will have only one objective----looking after the best interests of the Argos. Pinball commands the respect of all who meet him. He has the high profile that is needed, if the team is going to get more attention from the media and MLSE. I can think of no other individual who could fill the role as well as Pinball.

Seems like TFC fans have had enough of Bill Manning as well. Interestingly, member at FOA all want Copeland back as president .

Agreed, let Pinball set the vision for this franchise while Magri, Russell (and perhaps Murphy) take care of football side of things.
In truth Bill Manning could care less about the Argonauts franchise.

Although Pinball has the GM title, I think it's well known he lets his staff do their job in scouting and recruitment. Pinball definitely comes in to close the deal on high profile signings. He should be President of the Argos. Magri appears to be a GM in waiting. Would hate to lose home to another team.

I have full confidence in Vince Magri to fill that task.

Agreed with the above. We owe a lot to Magri for his superb scouting abilities and talent. It'll be interesting to see what happens to Manning as TFC seems to be imploding on itself in frustrations. I never liked the idea of having someone be the president of two major sports teams simultaneously anyway... Especially two that don't seems to hold must respect for each-other among their fan bases.

I have been very anti Bill Manning in the past for what seems like a lack of caring about the Argos. Truthfully though, it isn't his fault. He was put into the position by MLSE. One thing I really appreciate about Manning is the way he treats the alumni. He put together a great alumni bash recently, and Hogie has written a great piece about it on the website.

He was forced into a job he never wanted. His passions lie elsewhere. The blame lies with MLSE installing him and keeping him there when the only real choice has been in front of them the whole time. It is beyond a head scratcher. It's such a simple and easy decision that it begs the question of just how successful they want the Argos to be.
Is there anyone out here who believes that with Clemons running everything the Argos would not be immeasurably more successful on all fronts? He exudes and wills everything he does to success. I think people in charge at Mlse are somehow afraid of being shown up and exposed in other aspects of their business. I hope not, but I cannot understand why else this was not done long ago.
    GO ARGOS!!!
