Here's an article that Mike Hogan wrote about Qwan'tez Stiggers
He came from the fan controlled football league and has been turning some heads at camp.

A little foolish to have the Blue and white Game/Scrimmage on a Monday at 4 in a city away from your fan base no, ? I’m sure many would’ve made a weekend trip like myself.

I notice Aaron Parker WR has been suspended. He came to the team with high expectations. He was on the Argos's neg list, so the team had been interested in him for a while. Before training camp, one might have expected him to compete for the 5th receiver spot. Wonder what the story is?
Cameron Dukes + Dan Adeboboye + Kevin Mital + David Ungerer + Damonte Coxie + DaVaris Daniels + Dejon Brissett = Unstoppable Force
Mike Hogan Update:

Attended today's practice. Here are some personal observations (for what they are worth):
.QBs-- Kelly looked very sharp, making pin point passes and quickly hitting receivers as they broke open. Holmes made some excellent passes but late in the practice drew the vocal ire of the coach for a bad read and pass.
.WRs--A number of receivers, including some newcomers, made some very good plays. Phillips in particular, appeared to have a very good session. Nield seemed to get a lot of playing time. Based on what was on display today, it looks as if Gittens Jr, Daniels, Ambles, Phillips and Coxie will be the starting receivers. But that could change if one of the other receivers excels in the pre season games.
.DBs--A couple of rookies caught my attention. Stiggers shows real potential. He has good size and moves very well. In spit of being hugely inexperienced, I will be surprised if the team doesn't find a way of keeping him. Pierce was the other rookie who impressed. He has excellent speed and breaks on the ball very well. They had him returning kicks and he showed his quickness when he got the ball in his hands. It will be tough for Pierce to make this team but he is going to be difficult to cut if he keeps playing like he did today.
.RBs--both Harris and Ouellette showed a lot of energy. Harris looked a lot younger than his 36 years. McMahon has outstanding quickness but if he is to make this team he will have to contribute on special teams. Today was not a very good day for him in that respect. On his first punt return, he fumbled as he let the ball hit his chest. Leake and Pierce looked good returning kicks.
Today was the only training camp session I have seen and my one day observations may be at odds with how players have performed, in the previous sessions. So please take into account it is only one person's personal observations based on this one day visit to Guelph.
The team itself needs to do a better job. Here we are a week into camp and there hasn’t been a single video posted on their website. Pretty disappointing they couldn’t take 10 minutes to interview Dinwiddie or Kelly and post it. Maybe MLSE laid off the Argos video staff to save a couple thousand dollars. Whatever it is, it’s no way to build interest in a championship team.
Cam Phillips looked good at the Blue/White game. That’s all I saw. Kinda sucks they were advertising it all week and the drive to Guelph was longer than the actual scrimmage. It either started earlier than advertised or ended much earlier than advertised. Poor communication?

There is absolutely no excuse to mess up the times on this today. Hour+ drive for half hour of scrimmage. Love this team, but they really are their own worst enemy.
It's us vs the rest of the country
Glad it’s not just me then. I double checked to see if the Argos or Hogan tweeted anything in case they changed it and nothing. I remember the days when I was a kid at UTM and this had excitement/buzz, met the players afterward, fans welcomed on the field. My days of getting autographs and getting up close are over so it doesn’t bother me but this game just didn’t have the same buzz that it used to. I think a weekend fan event would’ve been more exciting. IIRC they did Oshawa and Burlington but were in the rush to get out since they were bussed. This is not my CFL lol.
