Out of the park, no, but I like them enough to get one. I wish there was a little more Oxford blue, perhaps if they coloured in the oars. The oars are a cool idea, but they need to be a little smaller or more defined as people have mistaken them for swords, feathers, etc. Some Oxford socks would set off the look nice. The white away with blue pants are going to be the best look. I’m sure we’ll see that combo at some point.

For anyone considering purchasing the fan jersey, I’ve read they fit a little tighter than previous years and to size up. Can anyone actually confirm this? I’ll now have to wait to test size as I’d hate to drop $200+ on something that shows off my nipples.

We can hope that's the case, I guess. But I've noticed that NFL uni reveals include every possible combination. If there are more mix-and-match looks, Oxford pants or socks, etc., we should have seen them when this new look was rolled out, IMO.

That's a good package of info. I'm more optimistic than I was yesterday that (as AV suggested) we have not seen every combo.

I have to say it again, these are 1000 times better than the jerseys we’ve had for the last 3 seasons

Same here. I like them in general and the thought and care that has gone into their creation. But I am beginning to love them

Agreed ... I am old school die hard....want stripes... and lots of contrast with both shades of blue... with a touch of white.. but I like the base colour being the light blue... and seeing ARGOS on the front... the Paddle on the legs is kind of cool... not sure about the white ones unless we can get some blue pants.... but the cambridge ones are very nice... Good to see Real sports had these right away... this is a good positive step ... Go ARRGOS !!!

They had a fair number of (blank) jerseys available for sale at Real Sports today along with some other merchandise such as hats, t-shirts, sweat shirts and general accessories.

What I really need is a new Argos beer glass as mine has been worn out by the dishwasher.

Still not sold on them as a primary jersey. Looks good for a fan to wear but lacking double blue.

Would be nice if they would add dark blue pants into the equation.

Not sure how many saw the BC Lions Grey look but I think those are fantastic. Even when the jersey and pants are the same colour, the black helmet and black numbers and stripes on shoulder just make the entire jersey “pop”. The Argos are just missing that “pop”.

Watched part of the pre-season game today against Hamilton and I'm not that keen on the new uniform. I like the they have incorporated the "pale blue" but it's too much. They should have made the pants the darker blue or something, because it's too much and you need some kind of contrast. An American friend of mine who is in town and was also watching the Blue Jays, was teasing me about why do all of the Toronto sports team have "baby blue uniforms" and I have to laugh, but he's kind of right!!

I liked the uniforms. And the dark blue socks helped with the look. I think they should try them with dark pants for a game or two.
One thing I can't stand it the dark blue undershirt hanging out for some players. Looks bush league. I hope they fix that for the regular season.

Upon reflection, the jerseys look great on fans (from up close) but are the numbers smaller on the replica jersey? I’m still unsure what I think of the overall look. For some reason they just so much better as a fan jersey IMO. Maybe it’s the pants that I don’t like.

I bought a A.J Ouellette #34 in the away jersey and it is great. The only thing is those oars on the shoulders may make it difficult to wash without issues. Argo57 suggest inside out and delicate might be the answer.

And absolutely no fabric softener of any kind, advise from the Tiger Cats store when my son was picking up his customized jersey.

The overall look was better than I thought it would be -- Cambridge Blue is a very cool colour. However, I'm not changing my preference for contrast. This new look would be so much sharper IMO with Oxford pants between Cambridge jerseys and socks. Or even white pants in between. I'm not counting on Oxford pants being part of this year's package; would love to be proven wrong. The variety of available combos if we had all three pieces in all three hues would be very exciting.

One thing I did notice -- numbers are hard to read from a distance. From my seats at the 40, it was mostly fine. But standing in the south end zone watching the Argos warm up in the north end, I could not discern most individual numbers.

Out of solidarity with the new colour scheme, I wore my 1976-vintage game-work Cambridge Blue jersey, No. 42 which fortuitously we have on the roster (Stiggers). I believe it was worn back then by either Al Maclean or Stuart Francis.

Hand wash only here. Even only soaking in some soapy water will get it clean, rinse off and hang dry.
