Did the geniuses at MLSE do any marketing of Argos at any of the Leafs' homegames ??? I asked Mike Hogan about the possibility of setting up an Argo both or desk on the concourse to be manned by some Argo staff or Argo legend players perhaps - hand out scheds.; talk Argos; pictures and stories of Argo history, etc. etc.

The bean-counters might have found this of no use though; and MLSE big-wigs likely quite afraid to mention anything Argos as it might offend their Major League fans .

One time capacity at Maple Leaf Gardens. It was 16,485 from years than the removed some seats to add some more private boxes.

Argos games versus the Tiger-Cats never seem to go the way they're supposed to, or at least when Argos supposedly have the advantage. The Labour Day game last year seems to have been an exception to that rule.

I agree completely. Tiger Cats are better team than what they showed last week, and will be looking for a bounce back game.

I have to say, after everything that has happened between these two teams, it will be weird to see Chris Edwards in yellow and black.

How can you even guess in advance? Last week, it looked like most sections were close to sold out. Today, the Ticketmaster site has hundreds of seats in many sections.

I knew that was going to happen when I was buying tickets. That pisses me off because I had a hard time getting a certain amount of seats together.

Pardon the language but they have been pissing me off lately with the tickets, and I have no other way to describe it.

It, along with Postmedia, is hanging by a thread. Laid off two of their best remaining sports writers this week, Scott Stinson and John Kryk. What's left is a bare shell of what used to be.

Depth chart is out. Some surprises, including Peters does not start at CB (Stiggers does). Some important players are on the six-game injured list: Muamba, Ambles and Bladek being the most concerning. Fortunately we signed Ciraco, so Nicastro can slide into RG for Bladek. We have decent depth at receiver but Ambles will be missed nonetheless. Muamba is, oddly, probably the most replaceable of the three, with Williams available there.

Peters, Priester, Acheampong and Hendrix are among those on the one-game.

We are starting five NATs on offence (three on the o-line, Gittens and Brissett) and two on defence (Williams and Metchie). No "designated National" listed so I presume we are not going to bother playing that silly game.

Peters not dressing….hope it doesn’t turn into the Bart Andrus/Pete Kuharchuk treatment of Byron Parker in 2009 when Parker returned from Philadelphia (sarcasm). But as a comic in all seriousness starting a 21 year old CB…what could go wrong?

Something that Ben Grant tweeted today leads me to believe that it may be a slight injury to Peters that is keeping him out of this one.

Argos seem very high on Stiggers, I suspect he will be very active tomorrow as Bo will be throwing his way a lot.

Another epic fail by the league's website. Game tracker used to have a link to both teams depth charts, not you have to go into each individual team's site to find the depth chart. The site, other than some good writings, has become utterly useless. Even the box scores don't have defensive stats. Is this what Genius sports brought the league?

This league is becoming harder to defend.
Failure to pay attention to detail leads to perception that the CFL is a minor league operation, they can only blame themselves for much of this.

Looking forward to tomorrows game but a bit worried Ticats will want to spoil the party. I like Playing ticats on our home opener... plus it spreads out the games against them.

Re ownership and MLSE... they are paying bills and have done a lot of good things for us...our on Field stuff is likely best in the league... Still like to see a home game against Sask or the Bombers... maybe a better bricks and mortar team store.... maybe a few adds on CP24 , Q107 / AM740 ? ... but generally speaking things are going in right direction....

Mr. Ambrosie was aware there was going to be a delay for full rollout of the new stats system.He could have been upfront via social media channels of the delay.He chose silence over the customer.It's not a surprise anymore.
