Read this somewhere else: Weary of being asked to sing O Canada along with the regular singer. She is slow, scoops every word, adds her own melismas on every line. No one in our section sang along. Oh, nice voice, but can't we participate in singing our anthem? Truly worn out from her inappropriate showmanship.

Yeah, this felt rushed and inadequate. Game-day ops are no doubt complicated, with too few people doing too many jobs, but a proper tribute would have lasted longer than a commercial break. To be fair, they did interview the guys at halftime, no doubt having realized that the earlier efforts had fallen short. I believe Mookie actually had a mic in hand before he was shooed off the field by the sideline official.

My son is pleased you noticed the SOGRA thing and that it has been corrected. We sat on the east side last year for the first time to watch the East Final and had a good laugh about that all game long.
