Yikes, is this the same team we've been watching so far this year? Terrible penalties. No offense (for most of the half). Lucky the defense is doing something or we'd be way down.

Dumb penalties on both sides of the ball - awful turnovers, and a dumb play to end the half when you know it has to go to the end zone as there is no time left otherwise —- frankly being down only three goes to show how poor Montreal played too.

This game is likely the tiebreaker at the end of the year (home and home will likely be split in September). This is a huge game towards hosting an East Final again. Hamilton and Ottawa aren’t doing anything this year in terms of winning the East.

No style points tonight — Time to wake up and play a decent half, and steal a road game in Montreal now - before we have to win one there later.

One could sense as the Argos offence stumbled along after a good start, taking dumb penalties, and watching Stanback doing better every time he runs that the game was turning towards the Als.

Or kick a FG, as they were well within FG range. Further, I think that was a first down play.

Unless the Argos defence scores or sets the offence up to score at least twice this half - it ain’t happening tonight. We will be looking back at tonight’s game in September saying how important it was…..
