Leake TD! If the Argos keep this up I may have a heart attack.

I appreciate Crum's moxie in never going down until driven into the ground but it won't be long before he's on IL if he doesn't start doing it some of the time.

I really hope the East crosses over this year. Sask and Calgary are just nor fun to watch. Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal are fun to watch. Hamilton just needs to get a QB healthy.
    GO ARGOS!!!

As Ottawa scores again, this game is starting to look like a '90s game when scores zoomed upwards.

This game has more twists and turns than a labyrinth as Ottawa stops the AJ from the two and one. How many more will there be?

I get the Orimolade penalty as he grabbed the facemark but I still don't see the McManus penalty even on the replay.

Best “regular season” Argos team since 1996-1997 so far. If Kelly remains healthy (knock on wood), this team should be fine in terms of the East with one more Montreal win. Outside of the game at Winnipeg, and maybe one Montreal game, this team looks like a 12-4 team at worst going into the final two games. Let’s hope we stay healthy, which we all understand in football is a crapshoot. This group is the first in a long time where even when they make mistakes, I have confidence they will overcome them. They have the ability to make plays in all three phases of the game which is nice too.

Another win ! Keep rollin' boys - Pull Together !

WOW to Chad Kelly - the guy can throw strikes all over the field, and hit open receivers both intermediate and deep; so nice to see in the CFL now that features a lot of dink & dunk passing game. Kelly is poised, can avoid the rush to buy time, and is mobile and can run for yardage when need be. Maybe - so far this season - the best Argo QB performance in a long, long time.

Wow to J. Leake too - 3 punt return TDs already in half a season !

Argos D gave up too much yardage perhaps, but young Crum showed some passing stuff. Like to see Henoc back sooner than later to make this D even stronger.

    What a game!
    However:
    1. still too many undisciplined penalties by Argos
    2. Chad Kelly should not be running the ball. Too many QBs getting injured this year. Hand the ball to Oullette or Harris, they are both big, strong guys. Cannot afford to lose Kelly as we saw last week.
Argos are so much fun to watch this year.

Fantastic game. The only thing I hate is next week being the third bye week meaning they then play ten games in a row where injuries can start to pile up. But this team definitely has the talent to handle that.

Exciting game, right to the ending. I was getting very upset with Cam Phillips in the first half. At one point, he had 5 targets and 1 reception. Killing all kinds of drives. His second half was MUCH better, going over 100 yards. Very happy for Davaris Daniels. He's been due a night like tonight. I can't believe he got away with that first one, it looked incomplete to me. One more, and he would've had the Al Bundy Special. Polk High Football Rules! Defense had me concerned in the first half. I know they play this bend-but-dont-break stuff, and usually it works, but theres been two problems the last two games: 1. They're starting to break. More long drives ending in touchdowns than in the first six games, and 2. Theyre playing from behind more often. Bend but dont break is fine when youre up by two touchdowns because youre wasting a lot of time. As long as times getting wasted, who cares who's holding the ball? But when youre behind, you gotta get your offense on the field and in a rhythm. Good defensive adjustments at halftime. Run was defended better. I liked Deionte Knight today. Flo had a nice game, Pickett and McManis were their usual selves. Offensive line was great. Cage is such an upgrade over Tate, i hope he stays healthy. Ouelette is a BMF. How about Leake!?!?! What was even more impressive is that ball bounced two or three times before he fielded it, and he STILL goes in for the TD. Just like the MTL game, the offense and specials bail out the defense a little bit. Into the bye week to get healthy. Then, hopefully.... revenge!!!

P.S. the refs were out to screw us. Andre must've had money on Ottawa.

Great game, great atmosphere...probably would have been a bigger crowd on a Friday or Saturday. I still have no idea what happened on that massive penalty to send us back so far...Kelly hit an official?? The refs missed the blatant facemask on the Argos receiver - or was the play dead because of the Argos penalty?? No idea. Seemed liked the refs were making up rules along the way.

I don't know if any of the penalties were illegitimate, but it didn't help that the unnecessary roughness on Cage took seemingly too long to sort out, and it resulted in a potential turning point. Thankfully, Chad had poise and led the team downfield for a touchdown on the next drive.

The lot of an Argo fan

We had company today, so I set the Telus box to record the game on TSN, or so I thought.

As someone mentioned earlier, TSN was showing some crappy golf stuff (apologies to the golf enthusiasts, I can understand being out there and playing it, but who watches that stuff?) and that's what got recorded.

Thankfully TSH is showing the game later so I get another chance to record it.

It sounds like it was a great game, and one not to miss (I live in BC so can't attend).

    Go Argos!

I have no problem with him running. Like the majority of QB injuries, his came in the pocket last week. I just never subscribed to the theory that a QB might get hurt because he runs too much.

It isn't as if Chad Kelly took off with the ball that much, he rushed 3 times and his o-line didn't get him sacked once.
