I don’t know about that. There is a reason teams rarely ran outside to the wide side all these years. I think Ford can get up field faster without a wide side/ defences knew how to string out wide side sweep type runs. Even Rocket Ismail wasn’t able to make explosive plays on O to the wide side.

But yeah, neither receiver are particularly stone-handed in general.
Lewis is a big-play receiver who can make great tough or circus catches. If you watch all CFL games, and just don't go by what some experts tell you though, it is obvious that Lewis has always had big drops problems; same with Kenny Lawler. But the big rewards negate the dropped ball problems I would think. Thats why neither of those guys - while current CFL top rated receivers - are IMO not even close to all-time CFL great receiver level talent (talking Stegall, Greer, Fernandez, Brian Kelly, Tony Gabriel, Cahoon and a few others), because the top receiver talents just do not drop that many balls (which can kill drives and/ot take points off the board).

They mentioned dropped pass stats for the Stamps last night, but I trust these new PFF or whatever stats in no way. The NFL supposedly keeps dropped pass stats - but it can be pretty subjective maybe, if a DB is in good coverage or contesting the ball; I'm talking flat out drops where the receiver gets both hands on the ball,

And wether that throw to Dillon Mitchell that he dropped was perfectly on time or not is next to irrelevant IMO; the QB put it right in his hands and he had it all in his hands all the way to the ground till he dropped it; the Lewis one was a flat-out drop as well. Ford should have had another 100 receiving yards plus 2 more TD passes on his sheet if not for those drops. And good receivers drop passes sometimes.

Geno Lewis is anything but a "stone hands" receiver. Even the best occasionally have drops.
Cameron Dukes + Dan Adeboboye + Kevin Mital + David Ungerer + Damonte Coxie + DaVaris Daniels + Dejon Brissett = Unstoppable Force

Honestly, I would put the positive catch to drop ratio up there with any receiver in the league. We know the reasoning for this statement. George Costanza: "It's not a lie, if you believe it."
