Losing a close one to the Riders, should motivate the Bombers to a win at home. However, this is not the Bombers defence of the last three years.

Here are the injury reports for the Bombers and Riders. The Riders list is a lot longer creating possible depth problems for them.

I tuned in with as Winnipeg scored their sixth TD to go ahead 42-6. Glad I missed the slaughter.
Winnipeg seems to get sloppy at times, then tightens up and pulverizes the next time. I wonder if this is less overconfidence and more a sign of an aging team that is starting to wear down, but still be devastating when they make a really focused effort.
I wasn't surprised that Winnipeg blew the Riders out. The Bombers are simply a much better team and they were ticked off after last week's loss. More often than not, this is the way the Banjo Bowl goes. I will add that the Riders are a terrible road team.
Chad Kelly + Dan Adeboboye + David Ungerer + Damonte Coxie + DaVaris Daniels + Dejon Brissett = Unstoppable Force
The Blue Bombers beating the Roughriders in the Banjo Bowl after losing the game prior before is similar to the Argos defeating the Tiger-Cats 48-0 at home in 2005 after losing Labour Day the game prior.
