    I never knew that Davis was signed one day after the 1975 season ended for the Argos and may have even played in the playoffs if they had made it. I did know of their courting of long-time Dallas QB Danny White.

    Also, can you believe that the Toronto Star had a beat writer (Al Sokol) covering the Argos (with Jim Proudfoot writing a column about the game) and then had Rick Matsumoto head to Ottawa to cover the Als/Rough Riders game???!!!

    The other thing that stood out was Ottawa dressing three QBs for their regular season finale as Clements, Holloway and Canadian Bill Robinson all played.
