    Hagerty is another of the class of 2021 who were heading into free agency. Nicastro was signed earlier. Next guys we need re-signed are Cassar, Hoyte, Brissett and Giffen. I believe we will let Richards (who is already past his rookie contract) walk as as a free agent.

    Hagerty is still young and could improve, but so far has shown little when he's played on the Argo D. He could easily be beat out by a new recruit as a safety prospect / DB depth player. I'd look at drafting Mount A's Daniel Bell as such a guy.

    To be fair to Hagerty, he was forced into the lineup because of injuries before getting hurt himself. Mason Pierce had the same thing happen to him and after struggling for a few games has made some nice strides. Perhaps Hagerty could've done that had he not been hurt, though he is in year 3 as oppose to Pierce year 1.
