The Eastern Final in 2013 at Skydome had as many Ticat fans as Argo fans. Incredible really, as the Argos were an excellent team coming off the 100th Grey Cup win in front of a full Skydome. I remember being so disappointed in the city of Toronto in not showing up that day. There was no hype or buzz for that game, the media were mute all week. And the Argos were very good and deserving of attention.

Yes you are right. I hated that game. I'd go on more about it but you summed it up well.

Hey if you have never been to an ARGO game. Take a walk down to the Tail gate area tomorrow. Its really cool to see all the Die hard CFL fans down there... and some of thier setups.

Also at some point go to the viewing area at the south side of the stadium. Amazing view from there...

I think this is the most important Argo game in years. Need everyone out if your able. ... Go ARRGOS !

Anybody remember the days when the Buffalo Bills had to sell out 72 hours prior to kick off in order to have the local blackout lifted? If they were close, a sponsor like Topps (or as a Buffalo resident might say Taps) friendly markets would by the remaining tickets. How cool would it be if a local sponsor did that here, and distributed to their customers?

Just did a count on Ticketmaster---Only 2,041 seats are left. Per David Naylor capacity is 28,000. That means that 25,959 seats have been sold. They are now in record territory for an Argo game at BMO Field by 1,000.

24 hours to kick-off. Can they sell 2,000 more seats in 24 hours? Doable. The pace this week has been around 1,000 per day since Monday. Tickets should move tonight and hopefully a sizeable walk up. It would be interesting to know for the last 2 East Finals what ticket sales were in the last 24 hours before the game. Even if current pace is maintained they may hit 27,000.

I believe they will get to sellout. They are so close that any fence sitters, and casual observers may want to jump on this juggernaut bandwagon.
    GO ARGOS!!!

Ryan Dinwiddie will be on Overdrive at 6:05 pm today. This will be the first Argo and CFL discussion on Overdrive this week. If the Argos make it to the Grey Cup game what is the over/under on Overdrive discussing Argo and/or CFL football next week more than once?

There's a nice map here from MLSE of the situation tomorrow if you're wondering where to park and what else is going on. All the "RAWF" space on the map is for the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair.

not a great way to introduce thousands of new fans to team by making parking experience a hassle but what’s to be done I guess.

Always going to be other events in a city of ~3 million. Nothing we can do about that.

Shout out to MLSE and the people working behind the scenes. Some of who don't get paid a lot.

Shout out to the fans that have stuck with this team through some very tuff times. Always thought we were the most resilient fan base of any team any where. Together we will continue to #pull Together.

Should be fans from the Hammer, MTL , Sask and maybe even Bombers today. Hope we can treat them as our guests. CFL fans gotta stick together

    Go ARRGOS !

    This^^^^^^^

Not nearly enough love goes out to them. Way to much bitching and whining about what they don't do, and admittedly I have done that in the past too.

Considering the way much of the media dumps on the Argos viability over the years, we don't have a choice about being the most resilient.
