The Argos signed OT Dare Rosenthal and DE Atlias Bell recently. Both players are American and are expected to report to TC in Guelph.

Others have noted some great possibilities already on the roster. At 6’6 I’d love to see a big guy like Agudosi winning balls in traffic. BJ Byrd is a great YAC guy a la Gittens, he had a great game in Guelph last year. And I thought Rajae Johnson looked good too, another big body, he deserves another shot.

As for the new guys how can you not be intrigued by the prospect of Jeff Badet, the 4.27 guy, catching up to Chad’s beautiful rainbow longballs? And Arcega-Whiteside, another big guy with big-time tools, former 2nd rd NFL pick, and he’s from Stanford so you know he’s smart. If he’s motivated to play he could be something else.

One way or another, that WR spot will surely be upgraded for 2024.
I would still like to see Phillips back, as he has done a good job over the past couple of years. Obviously, at this point, he isn't going to receive a huge pay bump.

Argos appear to have moved on from Phillips as they have signed Rasheed Bailey. Not a game- changing acquisition but a decent depth piece, I suppose.

He has a good speed, something the lack in the receiving corps as far as experienced guys go.

I like this pick up. I've always liked Bailey, and thought he would be a good fit here. He always seemed to come up with big play for the Bombers. And he was under utilized with the wealth of receiving talent they have. We will have to wait and see who will be throwing him the ball.
Kelly is lucky that allegations against him are bad boorish, bratty behavior of an entitled athlete instead of physical sexual misconduct which would be criminal.
If Pinball, Pelley and MLSE grant him a third chance to keep playing the game, I hope he shows real gratitude and takes the steps he needs to to become the best person he can on and off the field.
    GO ARGOS!!!

I read somewhere on social media - so take it for what it's worth - that the DC position will be split between Kevin Eiben and William Fields.

If true this tells me neither one of them stood out so they are going the DC by committee route.
I wonder which one will be making the in game calls and adjustments?

Gee between this and hiring an Assistant OC it makes me wonder if RD wants to have more of a hand in the defence in 2024, to, you know, burnish his coaching credentials.

A joint DC setup might have been the only way to keep both guys, perhaps? If that does turn out to be the case, there are some risks involved. Someone needs to be the ultimate decision-maker, IMO, and it should not be the head coach unless he steps completely away from running the offence.

Ottawa has released Tyrell Pigrome, we should pick him up, surely he’d be better at short yardage than the slightly-built Dukes.

Amoah looks like a very promising OT. A bit on the small side for the NFL but athletic enough to be a good fit for the CFL.

I recall he had his share of problems in short yardage. Fumbled the ball a lot too when given the chance.

Another OT that was quietly signed recently is Keith Williams. He played in 20 games in the last 2 USFL seasons. He is 6’7” 280lbs.

Paul Woods and Will would have seen him play live last season….how did he do that game guys?

Philadelphia, but don't ask me to recall players on either team except for Lirim H and MBT.
