Bad news on the Matocha front. He accepted an invitation to his hometown Broncos’ rookie mini-camp — he’s a mini-celebrity in Colorado as it turns out — and the Denver Post is reporting that he’s willing to switch to WR, “anything I can do to help the club” he says. Sounds like the Broncos practice roster could be a possibility for him. Where are we gonna find a quality developmental QB? We may have to draft one today.

Looks like Bryan Scott is the developmental QB. I see Casey Bauman signed as an UDFA with the NFLs LA Chargers. Not sure if there is a draft eligible QB that can help.

This is quite surprising. Unless I'm mistaken, he doesn't have the size, speed or experience to have much of a chance of being a successful WR in the NFL. Another case of the NFL vacuuming up all possible talent. I wonder if we will see Matocha in the future realizing the possibility of playing QB is really only there if signs in the CFL.

Reminds me of when the New York Giants, I believe, tried to turn Nathan Rourke into a receiver before he headed to the BC Lions.
Cameron Dukes + Dan Adeboboye + Kevin Mital + David Ungerer + Damonte Coxie + DaVaris Daniels + Dejon Brissett = Unstoppable Force
