Despite a number of key departures, I really like what the front office has been able to do this offseason. Excited to see the next Peters, Hendrix and Barlow emerge.

If 3DN is correct, it is indeed a 2-yr extension and he will make close to $300k in the third year.

Argos are investing heavily on their line. Keep Kelly healthy and on his feet = success. Scouting must feel its easier
to recruit other positions like DB, LB
Argos Season Ticket Holder 2016-2021.
Another nice piece of business: Argos have extended Adeboboye. He is heading into his third season and would have become a free agent a year from now.
One thing Argos have done very well this off-season is prep for the future. They have taken several key pieces out of next year's free-agent class by signing them to deals that run through 2025 and in some cases 2026. We are not going to be raided next year the way we were this year. Well done, Messrs. Magri, Murphy and Clemons.

A couple more signings on the defensive side.
Should be an interesting training camp.

Argos sure are loaded up at LB - Malik Clements added - he flashed some talent there for the Bombers.
I wonder if the Argos might think of switching McManis to MLB or is he more valuable /suited for W-OLB?; or are Jones or maybe Cassar going to be in the running for starting MLB ?
With the talent and skillsets on the defensive line, you wonder if the Argos will go with a 3-4 look at times this season. As a three man line, just imagine Ceresna, Brinkman and Oakman with four roving backers. In that scenario, I wonder if McManis could play as a rush end with Jones being so versatile. I'll guess we'll see who the new DC will be and their philosophy.

It certainly looked to me as if McManis played in the middle at times last year when Williams was out of the lineup. I often saw (at home games, where the formations are easier to ascertain) Jones outside and McManis inside. But guys moved around a ton in Mace's schemes, so who knows. Hendrix and Oakman, ostensibly tackles, often lined up outside, and Flo lined up inside periodically. We'll see what the new DC, whomever that is, has in store.

My reaction to Ouellette saying that Mace was the biggest reason he signed with the Riders was: this seems a bit odd. I also wondered if this was an indictment against Dinwiddie. He also cited the football culture/fan interest as another reason why he left. I will assume then, that any monetary difference in the offers he received was negligible. If this was in fact the case, it makes his departure even more disappointing. ArgoGabe 22, you stated that the last you heard AJ and Dinwiddie butted heads. Could you please elaborate about that.
As per Argonauts.ca the team has extended the professional contracts of both OT Dejon Allen and RB Deonte McMahon. Both players are Americans.
