I read somewhere on social media - so take it for what it's worth - that the DC position will be split between Kevin Eiben and William Fields.
Cameron Dukes + Dan Adeboboye + Kevin Mital + David Ungerer + Damonte Coxie + DaVaris Daniels + Dejon Brissett = Unstoppable Force

If true this tells me neither one of them stood out so they are going the DC by committee route.
I wonder which one will be making the in game calls and adjustments?

Gee between this and hiring an Assistant OC it makes me wonder if RD wants to have more of a hand in the defence in 2024, to, you know, burnish his coaching credentials.

A joint DC setup might have been the only way to keep both guys, perhaps? If that does turn out to be the case, there are some risks involved. Someone needs to be the ultimate decision-maker, IMO, and it should not be the head coach unless he steps completely away from running the offence.

Ottawa has released Tyrell Pigrome, we should pick him up, surely he’d be better at short yardage than the slightly-built Dukes.

I recall he had his share of problems in short yardage. Fumbled the ball a lot too when given the chance.

But isn’t it possible he could bring more to the table than Bryan Scott? At this point that’s all he would need to do to make the roster.

I was thinking the team could bring in a couple of Neg List QBs who have potential to develop. I am sure that will have to wait until after the NFL draft.

Amoah looks like a very promising OT. A bit on the small side for the NFL but athletic enough to be a good fit for the CFL.

Another OT that was quietly signed recently is Keith Williams. He played in 20 games in the last 2 USFL seasons. He is 6’7” 280lbs.

Paul Woods and Will would have seen him play live last season….how did he do that game guys?

Philadelphia, but don't ask me to recall players on either team except for Lirim H and MBT.

I paid little attention to Philadelphia's o-line at that USFL game, but New Orleans' tackles had some difficulty that day, IIRC.

    This I also recall.

I didn't really make the effort to learn rosters.

Sage Doxtater placed on injured reserve by the Battlehawks of the UFL, it doesn’t seem likely he can stay healthy enough to get his pro career on track.
