To Buffalo Bills. This is devastating, especially after losing Alex Russell earlier this year. Their work has been instrumental in the team's success dating back to 2021. Magri should have been elevated to GM, IMO.

The Argos need to find ways to retain these people. I agree that Magri should have been made GM, with Pinball moving up to a VP position. They really need to look at how the organization is currently structured. It's been unclear of late as to what exactly John Murphy is - is he GM, assistant GM, or a consultant?
Cameron Dukes + Dan Adeboboye + Kevin Mital + David Ungerer + Damonte Coxie + DaVaris Daniels + Dejon Brissett = Unstoppable Force
I agree Ravi.
I’ve felt all along some Argo employees are slotted a tier down from the jobs they are actually doing as they have a President that seemingly has little to no interest in the team except being front and centre on the podium when they win a Grey Cup.
Pinball-President
Magri-GM
Murphy-Who knows?
You can’t help but wonder if something is off with the organization at this time?
Having said all of this I congratulate Vince Magri on doing a great job with the Argos which afforded him the opportunity to advance to the Buffalo Bills and the NFL.

There should be an NFL window for football operations/coaches to jump to the NFL similar to what the players have to navigate. Good for Magri but right before the season kicks off? How do the Argos recover from this? Do they even bother to replace Magri? Was Alex Russell replaced by anyone?
There is no salary cap on front office. This is unfortunate and unnecessary. MLSE should be doing all they can to keep, mentor, develop talented staff like Magri. They got this all wrong when they failed to install Pinball as President. This structure is really starting to show its flaws now. I sure hope Pelley does the right thing
GO ARGOS!!!
I’m not sure any position title or salary could stop someone going to the NFL. See Nathan Rourke. Unless it’s a stupid amount of money. People dream of this opportunity and obviously want to move up the ladder like Rossetti, Rukavina. Argos seem To do well mentoring young guys on the football ops side of things.
