    DeShaun Amos

Anyone know how Amos is doing after suffering serious leg injury from last year? It would be great to have a high calibre veteran like him in the secondary with the departure of Stiggers to the NFL and Peters going to the 1999 Grey Cup Champs.

He's active on Twitter. Coincidentally he tweeted out something about how good Canada Dry Ginger Ale is, and I encouraged him to try an even stronger option, Vernors. Hoping to get a report whenever he finds some.

I agree we really want him back, and I'm guessing he will be fully recovered when camp opens.

Vernors is the best. Years ago Metro carried it and I think its only available in the US

Ottawa's own Pure Spring ginger ale was my go to as a young lad, and was the best IMO.

    WOW!

Memory unlocked... a commercial from around 1980 with strange people in white suits and dresses sipping ginger ale at the base of a water fall...

Vernors is very good and it is still available in Canada. Try Loblaws/Zehrs/Superstore. Tehcnically, Vernors is a ginger soda not a ginger ale, so when comparing it to Canada Dry, it's like apples to oranges.

The Argos do need a healthy Amos, but he isn't a candidate to replace either Peters or Stiggers at their specific positions, IMO.

I wasn't suggesting Amos replace either player, but it would be nice to keep the Defensive Backfield intact as much as possible.

You're saying Amos could not play corner if he was tried there? All kinds of American DBs have played both corner and/or D-half in the CFL.

Was the injury to Amos a clean break or was it something else?
