The video isn’t wildly inappropriate as some on social media are making it out to be, it’s just very strange and extremely poor timing. It’s definitely a head scratcher. Like wtf is he thinking? He needs to stay off social media, lay low and just work on football.

On Instagram yesterday he posted videos of a workout where he’s throwing dimes, as he does. I doubt Rider fans will be reposting THOSE videos.

The big knock against Kelly through the years is his immaturity. Between the meltdown in the East Final, the "concussion" excuse that came out of the blue a few days later, the serious sexual harassment allegations (and, sorry folks, but a sexual harassment allegation in the workplace is a pretty serious one and a fireable offence, if validated), and these social media antics, it's becoming increasingly difficult to accept that this guy has matured. And I say this as someone who had thought and hoped that Kelly was finally maturing.

IF occasionally acting up meant making the odd goofy comment on social media, then sure. Some will draw a line at whacked-out, loon behavior or getting in fights/disputes with others on the team you are supposed to be helping lead.

Let’s just hope Kelly’s mental state is good. Like AV touched on, maybe he is not handling these allegations well and is struggling.

Because it's either one or the other? I can think of a lot of non-mediocre QBs who always acted professionally, and a lot of mediocre QBs who always acted professionally. What I can't seem to think of is a lot of MOPs who occasionally "acted up" (if that's how this is being described).

Totally agree with everything you've said here. Considering Kelly is almost 30 years, he seems remarkably immature and where the hell is his judgement. I think most people in a similar situation would realize the value of just keeping a low profile till this sexual harassment allegation is dealt with and not do silly things on social media.

Kelly has not been accused of sexual harassment. This could be an important fact once things get settled.

Okay point taken, but being accused of harassment is just as serious and disturbing. Kelly has talent for sure, but I have a bad feeling that the Argos are going to have continually deal with his immaturity and behaviour, so it’s a shame that he’s their marquis player at the moment.
