Maybe we don't need the week off. The ten days between the last and yesterdays didn't help at all.

Well, ever since the second half in Montreal, offence been poor so not sure it had much to do with the 10 days break they had although it sure didn't help either.

Well, Milanovich in yesterday's post game presser, mentioned that the offence practiced horribly this week. Perhaps they needed yesterday's shot of reality.

This comment is a little concerning, if you notice them not practicing well, why would you wait until after a loss to say so publicly?

I don't know whether he did or not, but Milanovich should have said so then and there in practice and force the team to practice harder...he's the Head Coach.

I had read a tweet on Friday stating that the Argos offense hadn't had a good week of practice. I don't even remember who wrote it to be honest or the full text, but went into the game with that knowledge. Then again, if you don't read twitter then it's hard to learn that information.

Why is it a concern? Who cares what he tells the press? It's what he does or says with/to his players that matter.

From what I recall in one of the papers, Milanovich stopped practice one day and told them in no uncertain terms that they needed to improve.

My point exactly...it's his job to get the players to perform in practice with the intensity that he wants them or allows them to.

By the same token, who wants to hear that as a reason for a poor offensive showing?...I don't, do you

I don't think he used it as a reason, but more as a "I saw this coming". Teams have bad practice weeks and games from time to time. It's not a reason to panic unless it persists.

Eskimos sign Claude Wroten. Kind of interesting. Definitely that guy's last shot.

I don't know how many times the coach said that to us. Football, hockey and lacrosse. We all picked up our game regardless, because that's what coaches do...they try to motivate. My high school coaches were pretty good at it. LOL

Never had a true great coach. Had one crazy ass who ran onto the ice after a ref with one of our sticks. He said he was going to point out where the face off should be. haha. That year was insane but fun.

Tillman had to fill that 72nd roster spot. It is amazing that you need that many players around when only 42 can play in a game.

Not the greatest name, either. What exactly that means for us...I don't know!

What is up with Eteinne Legare with the Esks, Ravi; i thought i saw him on their suspended list this year, but now i see him on a "disabled" list (whatever that means - not the 9 game injury list anyways).

Hasn't played for the Esks this year, but IMO was very solid at DT there last year; if he is no longer wanted by the Schmoes - love to see the Argos try to re-acquire him; plenty of CFL experience now, and could play on this Argo D - even if in a rotation / a back-up; but from what I saw of him last year, as good as anything the Argos have at DT now (not that i'm complaining about the Argos interior D-line - they have been pretty solid, if unspectacular).

Legare did indeed come into his own last year, OV. He has been out all season with mononucleosis but is getting himself back into game shape now so he should be back in the lineup before too long.

If he has the same agent as James Robinson, he'll get as many shots as he can handle!
