    I like how this sounds! Reminds me how we used to buy our way out trouble. It didn't always work out, but we always felt big league. Not like recently when the focus on looking to replace veteran players with cheaper rookies.

    I made a comment on another forum that the only way that the timing of the Baker firing made any sense was if Copeland was waiting to hire someone from an NFL organization still in the playoffs or just out of the playoffs and that seemed unlikely. It looks like I might have been wrong about the unlikely part.

    So far the only nfl - cfl success management story was Trestman in montreal... Everything else at least for the argos was bad
