I see a letdown for the Lions. I'll go with the Bombers.
Bummers D needs to step-up, big-time, to win this one IMO - pass rush, stuff the run, force turn-overs; their offence is just too average, and the Lions D is decent and could shut them down. Maybe Medlock with some key long FGs could help get the win too.
Probably bet on BC if i wuz forced too; but again - no CFL result would surprise me with what I've seen from all teams thus far this season.
Medlock, you're fat!
Successful special teams trick play by the Bombers giveth, and unsuccessful play taketh way. Two HUGE turning points.
Bombers losing wasted what might be the play of the year - that fantastic Jake Thomas interception and lateral to Knox for a TD.
Very entertaining game. Can't have too many of those.
What an excellent game.
When the great Medlock misses from 50 yards, it's surprising.
Yeah, a bit surprising - but the ball just does not carry as far inside a dome - seen this plenty before where kickers come up short.
BC has lots of weapons on offence and they spread the ball around - Rainey thrown in for certain plays or packages adds big-play capability, and Chris Williams will be another piece when he is ready; Burnham maybe the best receiver in the league now.
Max Forde very impressive on the BC D-line - 2 forced fumbles and making tackles - a 7th round draft pick (???) = another example of young Canadian talent who show they can play at the CFL level when given a chance.
And Wally got lucky that his kicker was not seriously injured on that play where the punt was blocked - could have been much worse taking a shot like that and he could have been knocked out of the game - mid 1st quarter ! That happens - not sure who Wally's 2nd kicker on the roster would be - and next to no way BC wins that game IMO.

After a week in the US, nice game to come back to. Bombers greed on trick plays cost them this one.
It's us vs the rest of the country
