True but pre-mature. I get a feeling we are in for a big off-season.

Good point, Manning seemed to put the pressure on Popp to produce a winner. Perhaps there's pressure to get Trestman to change or go.
Unfortunately Popp has a bad history of hiring coaches.

Since Franklin has been a major disappointment this year and MBT is clearly not the answer, looks like the only option is to sign a FA QB.
Reilly & Mitchell are the top two available.

If they do go in a different direction, Condell would be worth a shot. Obviously knows the team/players well.

But, Archer should be out as DC as soon as this game is over. Maybe even consider Eiben for that role next year.

Don't get the point of MBT playing. If they were going for the win, leave Franklin. If not, give Prokup and a bunch of other backups a shot across the board at various positions to see what we got. Waste of a game by Trestman.

Trestman is stubborn to a fault, plus I have said and no doubt most others as well how we need a real OC next year and not for Trestman to call plays.

There you have SJ Green battling until the final whistle, like a true pro. Have so much respect for him.

Have to fire Trestman to do that though, as he's never not had full control of his offense.

Franklin has promise, just not in this crappy offence. Remember Tracy's Ham's one year in Toronto.

Noel had another good game going 6/79 as did Green who was over 100 yards. Unfortunately, a lot of the rest of the team never left Toronto for Montreal or Ottawa.

Agreed. I just hope he's not concussed. That would would be a terrible way to end the season.

if the offence was built around Franklin's strengths, I think he could be very successful. But not the way it is now...

Seeing what Condell did with Collaros in Hamilton, I think Franklin could thrive under him. IF... IF he's given control of the Offense.

One would have to assume that Prukop has no place in the future plans of this team, if Trestman is the coach next year. Everyone knows what MBT can and can't do, so the reason for playing him in the second half seems to make no sense. If Prukop was going to be given an opportunity to play next year, he surely would have played the second half.

Noel continues to demonstrate he has the ability to be a productive receiver and Green in spite of his age showed he deserves a spot on the team next year.

All in all, a dismal end to a dismal season

We won the Cup last year in spectacular fashion. The team needs to show that they are working to improve, but... a dud year that gives us the first overall pick for the first time in forever? I'm OK with it.
