I'm more into winning another GC this season I guess than rationalizing saving 30K or so of $MS for this season; or hurting the feelings of a young player who should get being set aside for a much better player, veteran and leader. I sort of like how Henoc played last season including in the GC win; but maybe his injury now (if there is a real one still?) or age, would prevent him from being anywhere near as good as he was in the past; in that case - do not activate / play him.

I'm into winning the Grey Cup, too, and I can guarantee so are Pinball, Dinwiddie, Magri, etc. I'm certain they are handling the roster the way they believe will result in that. A 12-2 record (including a loss they essentially gifted to the Bombers by starting a new QB) suggests their approach just might be working. And I am 100% in favour of maximizing assets. Argos have more depth than any other team in the league, IMO, and a big reason for that is the fact that they have not had to allocate something like $300k in salary to the cap. Cap savings do matter, period.

Argos great depth, but at QB position I have to give the nod to the Tabbies, with 3 QBs to turn to they have it over any other team IMO.

Maybe, but none of them can do squat against the Argos. Still a team game. Argos almost beat the Bombers (in Winnipeg where QB's really struggle) with a young QB starting his first ever game, so who knows if in fact the Ti-Cats are indeed deeper.
