I like this thread. The last 2 years I have repeatedly checked the Ticketmaster site and counted the blue dots to see how many were left. It was an incredible waste of my time, and I look forward to doing it again this year.

Does anyone remember what the east side upper deck seats were selling for at last years final? They are priced at $75.75. Seems higher than last years game. I thought they discounted those last year, since they never open up those in the regular season. Maybe through the team they are selling tickets for much lower.

I am sitting in section 225 and I paid $36. Should they not pay on the other side the same price? It's unfair to charge twice as much. They have not created the demand for tickets that warrants that. Fill the place consistently and create a fanbase before adjusting the ticket prices.

Surprise, surprise the lower bowl is not sold out. There are seats still available on both sides. Not many mind you, but it begs the question how many are still available and being released slowly out by either Ticketmaster or the team. I wish the MLSE strategy was to fill it up rather than charge $75-$100. I understand that is value compared to the other teams in Toronto. But MLSE have not created the demand for an Argo ticket that warrant those prices - especially for a section of the stadium they never make available. Those prices may slow down ticket sales not speed them up. Even endzone bleachers at $52 seems crazy to me. Those should be $25 tops. Those aren't even seats that are ever available normally either.

Just want to chime in here regarding the price of the upper east tickets. They have opened up sections 205-209. Only section 207 (centre field) are priced at $75. the other 4 sections are $40, which is a fabulous deal for sitting between the 25-45 yard lines.
It's us vs the rest of the country
Actually, my search was a bit off. Section 205 and 209 are $40, 206-208 are $75.

The Raptors have 1 home game left before East Final- tomorrow night Nov. 1.
The Leafs have 5 home games - Oct. 31, Nov. 4, 6, 8, 10.
Safe to say the only Argo players at the 10th should be non dressing players like Muamba.
Hopefully MLSE send players to some or all of these games.
Ticket sales seem sluggish right now. They are not pricing them properly either. I don't understand how I can pay $36 on the west side upper deck, and the same seat east side is $75, or $52 for endzone bleacher. They need to adjust.

Would it be selfish to want the Tiger-Cats to win on Saturday? I think the atmosphere would be really compelling for the Final.
I am guessing by the looks of the Ticketmaster Map that they may be at 21,000 sold. I notice they do still release seats from lower bowl - but not in any crazy numbers, so it looks as though lower bowl is indeed sold out. Bleacher endzone continues to sell and should sellout.
We are at 6,000 seats left to a sellout. If the Tiger-Cats do make it in (I feel an upset brewing in Montreal), their fans should be good for 5,000. I do hope Toronto fans continue to buy. It appears that any promotion MLSE are planning to do to promote this game will occur next week only as they did last year - Leaf games, TV appearances, etc...By then Hamilton will be in the game and tickets will be gone. If Montreal get in, then those promotions will be useful.
Too bad they have not been more proactive. The tickets are selling because of organic demand for a successful Argo team. Not because of any specific marketing plan to sell the game to the public by ownership I'm afraid.
