Brad Sinopoli seems to be developing into a pretty decent receiver for the Stamps. He made some big catches on Friday night including a nice one-hander. He reminds me a little of Gerry Datillio.

Agreed. He had some nice catches last night. Also credit to Hufnagel for trying the move.

I personally think it was a typical move by the "thinkers" of the league that pre-determine that Canadians can't play QB. Where was the "real" training camp competition for him as a QB? Typical Ole boys club penciling in stuff.

But seriously I think he looked great. Calgary has a great set of NI receivers in him, Parker, Arthur and when healthy a returning Forzani.
It's us vs the rest of the country

Montreal looks horrific on offense, I think there maybe trouble brewing there. Watched Winnipeg vs Hamilton on TSN2 at 1am....penalty filled game game between 2 weak teams. Buck Pierce is not very accurate. Argos must beat them Friday night.

hahah. The NI talent Calgary and BC have at receiver is very impressive.

That's the one thing about him I took from that game. Weather was not a factor, and he missed too many open receivers when he had time to throw. Hard to be successful like that unless you produce a lot of big plays.

Would it make sense at all for the Peg to sign Adrian McPherson. Could he be any worse than what it already has?

They would be wise to do so but I doubt that they will. Pierce is a decent guy to have as your backup but that is about it. As I have said before, I really don't think that Pierce is much better than Cleo Lemon but Lemon got a lot more flack for some reason.

Bummer fans are placing Pierce firmly and directly under the biggest bus they can find. Completely bypassing "guru" Crowton and Burke (the two guys who promised to deliver a system that would allow Pierce to thrive).

Kavis Reed was a little upset after Edmonton's ugly home loss to B.C. on Saturday night: http://www.cfl.ca/video/index/id/86347

He's still playing arena ball and is currently listed as being on injured reserve, so I guess that rules him out if he's really hurt.

Adrian is playing Arena ball? I remembered reading that before, but I had forgotten.

Um, wouldn't he be a perfect Quarterback for the Rebs (RedBlacks)?

I suspect that Ottawa is where he will end up next year.

Not if they want to be successful.

Not a big fan of McPherson's? I am not sold on him as a starter either but I still think that Ottawa will bring him to camp next year.
